  2. well, we could ask taco, he would know. lol.... i wonder how healthy it is for this kitty. i wonder how well this kitty digests this high fiber food? kizzy use to love to lick melon and eat speghtti with sauce. but i didn't think that many vegies were good for kittty? soo weird i know... it will be interesting to read the replies....

    must be one gassy cat.... should of named him "tooty"

  3. I'd be very surprised if that cat doesn't someday develop a taurine deficiency. Cats are obligate carnivores. Taurine is absolutely necessary for them, albeit in small amounts; it is not found in any vegetable that I know of. Without taurine, cats go blind.

    (Unless this cat has some sort of weird abnormality in metabolism that renders taurine somehow unnecessary? Or receives some sort of general vitamin supplement for cats that contains taurine?)

  4. yes anna i thought taurine deficiency just as you did. i hope this kitty is being closely monitored by a vet. i just don't know how this kitty is digesting all this high fiber food? it just seems unatural for this kitty to eat that.
