Karen, your husband is a contractor isn't he? It is too bad you are not around here. There were so many homes damaged in the ice and wind storms our contractors are doing well. Keeping you in my prayers for a busy spring.

Yes, Richard is an interior and exterior painter, last year and so far this year has been one of the worst for work - people don't have the money to spend on their houses and feed their kids. He and John started a job today that should keep them busy for the rest of the week and maybe into next week. The call he got today was for a bid appointment on the 24th, so if he gets that job, it will probably be ready for us in May. I am thankful for all your prayers!

Thanks again for the prayers - I got 3 calls today for bids and one of them is from a guy who is planning to get neighbors together for a marathon painting job - he alone has his house and his mothers house and also a condo that his wife owns and they rent out and he was really confident that we would have a good amount of work on his street!
Richard was so pumped after the call yesterday that he took me out to lunch - he figured I deserved it for putting up with him and John being in my way at home so much lately - I agreed, of course!

okay, since I started this post two days ago, we have gotten a total of 6 calls for bids! Thank you for the prayers! And if anyone doubts the power of prayers they need to come to TDK to learn the truth! Granted these are only for the bid on the job it has really helped with everyones attitude and that goes a long way towards feeling good. I know it has been said before, but I am so glad to have the TDK family in my life. Thank you for being here.
