Ah, we have all been hit hard lately by the loss and illness amongst our own. It is all so hard for us to see why this is going on, we just know our little family here on the 'net is hurting. I thought tonite a good nite to have a little tribute cafe' to those we have lost recently, our dear sweet Sharon, HM's last living parent in her dad, and of course, all our kitties we have lost the last few months. I know it seems sad but I really want to take time to remember all the good things these people have brought to all of us. Let's toast to them, their wonderful impact on our lives and those of us who are stil here supporting and loving each other. Oh what a spread we have tonite! We have shrimp, crabcakes, salmon spread, bacon wrapped wieners, bacon (for HM), mini cheeseburgers, mozzarella sticks, nachos, cheese and crackers, scones, croissants, assorted fruits, chicken fingers, and all short orders from the grill! There is a full bar and spirits are flowing. The champagne fountain is flowing as is the chocolate fountain. Let's toast to all our friends, two or four legged, living or passed away. We love them all and will never ever forget them. Come on in and share your loving thoughts, memories, and share your day!

I am the one in the background, sitting silently on my own. I feel the loss as if is is my own, but only know that I share it all with you. It has been a long week and I think we will see this again in the weeks to come. Mollycat you of all people should be resting and taking care of yourself. Thanks for starting the night shift and I hope all is well with you. Oh, here is a little black and white one wanting my attention, and a yellow one, like my lady, and another tiger, looks like Lucky, I shall sit and wait with the kittys for my friends.

I really like how TDKers have come together in support of those who have suffered a loss. It is a big part of what brings me here again and again. :)
I also appreciate the positive news about new kitties, new jobs and other new beginnings. It helps me keep some perspective on an increasingly troubled world.

Hi MC, KW and Lynn!.... mellow tonight! .... thinking of so many losses..... thank goodness we have a wonderful and comforting place like TDK to come to after these situations.... but there are joys also... new kits, hope with jobs and good things that happen in our lives...... this wonderful, supporting family is what keeps me too coming back day after day, night after night!...

Hi all.
Today was busy. Had to take Abbie to the doctor this morning since her eczema is worse so we had to get a prescription..then had to get it filled, then pick up some stuff at the store..then the normal routine of lunches, naps feedings..etc.
Maddie has a slight cold too so whoo hoo, that's been fun..lolHow is everyone. I have missed you too MC :) I hope you are feeling okay. I have been peeking in and trying to catch up with everyone..

My job is working out ok. I am slowing getting into the shipping thing. The company bought out a company in Redmond WA and we are getting their product in and trying to figure out what to do with it! I like my job, wish I got home sooner, but all is well, thanks for asking.

The kitties are doing well, Lynn. We've had some hissing and a couple of paw swipes, but there is enough room here that they can keep their distance from one another if they don't want to interact. Furl has been more tolerant of Boots than Digit, but Digit will come around. :D

... I'm having a frustrating night with daughter... her senior prom dress came in, doesn't fit right, so we'll have to go fight with the store tomorrow!... three days till her prom, and aarrrgghhh!!!
