Hi to all! Peeks in the NS office and all the kits are running to the door squealing for food! I turn on the lights, music and signs to indicate the NS is "open". The kits start nibbling on their food as I fluff the pillows and clean the litter boxes. Finally the kits are settled and I go around and light candles on the tables. Tonite the fountains are flowing and we have an after Easter NS to eat up all the candy and goodies! We have candy galore on the buffet table on ice as well as little cracker and cheese plates as well as ham, sausage and turkey cubed up to put on the crackers. Fruit and hot cross buns, cakes and cookies. You are also welcome to order from the grill. Chef Kitty is ready to take orders. We prop the door open and await our friends. Ah, Betty and Wilma will be staying over at Leela's tonite so it will be a lonely nite for me, I think I will scoop up that floofy orangie who is rubbing up against my legs. How are you? How was your day? Come on in, the kits are looking for laps and scritches.

Molly when do you ever get any rest?! Thanks for starting the night shift. You have been 90 miles an hour over the last week here, and you dear girl, need some rest. Love to see you, but, goodness girl, take care of yourself. I picked up a drink and a kitty and will try to come back later. Hope all is well in our house tonight.

Molly, hopefully, when I get up to NC in May, I will have more time to chat here! I'm trying to get everything squared away here in Fla. so I can spend that month in NC!.... I'm taking a painting class here before I leave, and I'm really excited about trying my hand at that while in the mountains.... I emailed some of my friends up there today, and a couple of them responded, so we've made plans to play golf and socialize!..I'm really looking forward to it!

'Evening, Lynn, AV and Mollycat. Cold here in North of Hollywood and windy. But it's supposed to reach the 90s on the weekend. No wonder we all come down with colds.
Lady Coco has finally (after nearly a month) begun to come out from under the bed. She was really upset when Sophie joined the household and I changed the quilt on the bed from a solid color one to one with patchwork stars. I guess that, along with Sam's death, these were too many changes for her. And it doesn't help that Sophie is probably twice her weight and wants to chase her (out of teenage enthusiasm and curiosity).
I was really quite worried about my little brown girl for a while, but today she spent most of the day out in the open on her favorite high shelf. I even saw her sitting in the window for a while and she came to visit me in the computer room.

of course! (did you need to ask? LOL).... I'll have to "sneak" her in the Gainesville hotel the night we're there for Son's induction into Blue Key, then from there, we're driving, so it won't be a problem! .... she is so good on car rides, and is a good "stealth kitty" in hotels/timeshares!!! oh, I am so bad!!!!!!

Hi all! I left the gym early to get home in time for ghost hunters only to be pulled over! Turned out my license plate light is out! Got away with a warning, but missed the beginning of GH.
I have to open the darn gym tomorrow because the opening girl is sick and will have to go in the dark before I get a change to fix the light. Arrrrgh! -
GA, Cuddles (13) and Abby (3), have so far, never become "best friends", like I hoped they would, however, they have learned to "tolerate" each other... Cuddles hisses if Abby gets within a 2' radius, however, that is progress since she tried to "beat her up" since she came to me as a rescue kitten!!!...... I'm not sure they will every be BF, but they have come to a mutual "non-agressive" agreement, and we live with that!.... Best of luck to you!!!

Peeking in and slipping out. What a day!!!! A gazillion things to do before leaving and a four hour United Way meeting!!!! And I had to get a bit... testy... to stand up for my programs!

Boots is pretty confident in her belief that she is entitled to be here and go anywhere in the house that she wants to. lol

that is so great, I have always been lucky in the sense that new and old get along pretty much....we have wrestling matches but they are playing, tiffs only very rarely.
