What a nuisance Deb, being called into W**K on your night off. Hope you can sort them out pretty quick and get back home to the fight club. We were out this evening and when Mr MS was unlocking the door Shadz wanders up and drops a mouse at his feet. It was her not so subtle way of saying 'my dinner time was 2 hours ago, where were you?" and " I had to get my own dinner, huh!". We got the message loud and clear, then served her up her usual beef chaser after she made short work of the mouse. It's winter and a girl needs a thick glossy coat.

You snuggle up with the 'crew' when you get home. I'm heading off to bed now, need my beauty sleep.

I feel your pain, AZ! Tuesday I covered for on front desk girl and this morning, I'm covering for the other! Just closed the gym at 9:00 last night and had to be back here to open at 5:45 this morning.
Got stopped going home last night because my license plate light was out, but got away with a warning. Was really worried I'd be pulled over this morning coming into work. Work is just down the street from the police station, so there's always plenty of police cars around here. Made it safely, though, and avoided what the officer last night told me would be a $85.00 ticket! -
G'night MS, sleep well and scritches to HRH in the morn.
GD, ouch on the warning notice for the light....make sure you get it changed..

Night Deb and GD. Get that bulb replaced GD, unless you want to meet a hunky cop.

Ooooh, hunky cop! There were actually two of them last night, in one car! None of them too hunky, either, but nice enough. The police department works out at the gym as do some of the SWAT team, so I do get to see hunky cops on a regular basis.
I'm definitely chaging the light today - I drive home in the dark every night and like the cop said, it'll probably cost me $5.00 to replace it, versus a $85.00 ticket.
I was lucky it wasn't the end of the month!!! -
If you have an Auto Zone or Pep Boys there in Florida, they will change it for you for a little bit of nothing.

GD, you must have been lucky not to get a ticket. I got one for both of us yesterday! LOL My cop wasn't hunky either. :( Hope you have a good day at the gym and don't fall asleep. To all, have a wonderful day!

*Opens door and peers into NS office. Kitties are asleep and softly snoring everywhere. Of peeps, there is not a sign.*
Waaaawwwwwww. I've missed everyone again. I feel like Beth's restless kitten, wailing for attention. Sleep well, Deb and MS. Have a lovely day too, Mollycat! GD, you seem to be more or less living at that gym at the moment. Remember to take care of yourself, you need pampering while you've still got that ulcer and so does Mollycat!
-
Thanks, Jcat! I usually only work 4:30-9:00, so it's not that much. This week with both the other girls getting sick is quite a bit more. I took Saturday off for our TDK get-together so it was actually nice to pick up some extra hours during the week to make up for it. I'm taking good care of the ulcer. No caffeine since and feeling really good now because of it. Still eating a lot of yogurt and bananas and as an added bonus, lost 16 lbs!
I'm hoping to find an hour or so later to catch a nap!
Yikes, Molly - we're you speeding? Sorry about the ticket :(
-
Hope you get that nap, GD. Yay for the yoghurt and banana and losing weight, though I can't believe you're anything but in great shape, given how much tennis you play normally. (Ahem, are you eating any green stuff as well? Or is that an indelicate question?) I'm so glad the ulcer is behaving itself, hopefully it'll soon be gone for good :)
How are Bobby and Mi this morning? Did Bobby let you sleep last night or did he have to go into bathroom time-out?
-
Hi GD, jcat and MC...
It's already a good day. Abbie slept from 10:45 to 6:30 then ate..then went back to sleep and is still sleeping and it's almost 8 am..whoo..Maddie is getting up though.
How is everyone?
That sucks about the ticket MC and the warning GD..but at least he let you off.Posted 11 months ago by cricketsmama #

Bobby did well last night - actually I woke him up, getting up at 4:30 :)
Not eating any greens yet. The doctor told me to stay away from that for a while.
As for my being in shape, I'm getting there. I couldn't believe how going from working at the tennis center to working at the office for two years affected my weight! I gained 30 lbs in the two years I was there! Getting back on track now, though! -
Good for you GD about your weight. I need to do that. I am hoping with the warmer months, I will be more active.
I never even knew license plates had lights..I don't think ours have one...but then again..I am not looking at my license plates a lot at night.Posted 11 months ago by cricketsmama #

Hi, CM. Awwww, Abbie and Bobby, both letting Mama sleep! Whoo-hoo!
Wow, GD, you mean there's actually a valid excuse for not eating greens? Don't let anyone under the age of 12 hear, lol. I love bananas and yoghurt (and especially banana smoothies, yum, yum), but I think I'd get a bit fretful if I had to eat them ALL the time. Still, at least they're nice and filling. And you can still drink tea, I do love tea! Bet you're looking forward to when the doctor lets you back on standard rations though...
-
JCat, my new drink of choice is decaf-diet green tea! I bring it with me everywhere. I also travel with decaf Earl Grey in my purse for when I meet my friend at Panera.
I won't mention the greens thing to any youngsters!CM, it's funny, I was about to ask the cop, too if the plate was supposed to have a light! I never knew that, either, but I guess it makes sense. I took a look at all the other cars on the road, and they DO all have plate lights! Guess they come on when you turn the regular lights on.
