Snow, Karen?? Please don't let it head for North Dakota--where are you? We just got rid of the last of our 4+foot snow piles in the yard yesterday--to be in 60's today--nice, if you don't look at the flood waters--which are receeding, thank goodness.

It's really weird around my house. Downstairs is old, upstairs is new. On our first night sleeping upstairs (last Saturday) hubby asked what hotel we were in! So for 20 years there has been a place for everything, and all else stored in the attic. Now I have to find new places for things because the house configuration has changed so much. Not even the kitchen is safe from my ruthless wrath of attempted organization!

I have to head out now for the library - I told the family I would pick up whatever is ready for us and that is all I will be doing outside of the house today. Spring thought are welcome, but up here - this is spring! I'll check back in later - it will probably take about 15 minutes just to clean my car fror a 5 minute ride to the library - glad it's close, and I can take some of the back roads instead of the heavier traveled ones - some people forget how to drive in the snow up here in the spring!

I was looking up my friend's obituary and found someone with the same last name. In her obit, she leaves behind her babies, and it lists the names of her cats. I must remember to make note that I want that listed in mine too!

well, I had to clear 3 inches of snow from my car, and forgot that I had another stop to make to pay the van loan, so it took me a little longer than I thought it would - visibility is getting worse by the minute out where I live and the snow is coming down in big clumps of flakes. I am glad I am home and now just need to worry about how long it will take Richard and John to get thru the afternoon rush hour and how grumpy Richard will be to deal with. I will have the whiskey bar open for him when he does walk in the door, so maybe he won't be too bad.

Good afternoon, all!
I'm having another long day! Bobby woke me up at 4:00 with his howling, then he came and sucked on the blanket and calmed down. Then Mi paid me a visit and before I knew it, it was 4:45 and I had to get up. Went to open the gym from 5:45am to 8:45am. Went from there to my tennis club to pick up a copy of my membership that I'm disputing. Went home and gave Bobby his pill and then ran out to meet my doubles partner for coffee (tea for me). Ran from that to our double match - which we lost. Stayed and talked to a lawyer who plays on my team about fighting the tennis club for our memberships and then ran straight back to work. Now I'm working 1-8! I'm tired, I need a shower and I want to go home!!!!For tomorrow's TDK Meet, I'll be the yawny one!

it's georgous here too! upper 70's.... I'm going to play 9 holes later this afternoon, just can't resist..... sorry for those of you with all the snow, like 2P says, you can rub our noses in your pretty weather when it's 100 degrees and 100% humidity in July!

Hi ALL! Waves to anyone here! I am so happy today, it is 75* here in Illinois! Sunny and gorgeous. Of course, the forecast calls for ice and snow for Monday (that will be to you by Tuesday or Weds at the latest CM). Gotta love that 'lake effect' spring snow! The girls are sitting on the window ledge fluffing and freshening their fur. They are also chattering with the birds, bunnies, and squirrels in the yard. I am so excited for you GD, I wish I could get to see all of you tomorrow. Have you heard if the WWM's have arrived safely? CM, I so want to throw out my house too and get a new one! It would be easier than cleaning and fixing everything here! LOL AV, Leela, please send Hazel here when you are done with her! She has two litter boxes to clean! How is everyone's Friday?

WWM left a message for SOM that they had landed. Yay! CW has landed as well! I'm getting excited and looking forward to spending time with everyone. I met CW and SOM and SOD last year in Orlando and look forward to a reunion. Never met WWM and Mr. WWM and very happy to get a chance to now!

I just chatted with one of the independant trainers here who's also a PT. I'd told him how my achilles were hurting and since nothing really was going on in the gym (they're filming a DVD in the back), he had me do some movements and stretches to assess what's going on. He showed me some exercises to do for it to help flexibility and warm up the muscle. I hope if I'm good about this, it'll eventually help!

Hi everybody, just checking in briefly. I am on vacation this coming week, so hopefully I will get to catch up on all the news. Tomorrow BF and I are taking the Spitfire to a British car show but I will be around later on. I hope things are looking up for the TDK family; it's been a tough few weeks.
