Turns on the lights in the night shift cafe and kittehs come a running! They are ready for lovin'! Tonite they are serving a pizza and pasta buffet with italian cookies and pasteries. A full stocked bar is ready to go. Its lowkey tonite, kittehs putting on aprons ready to serve you. Others are grooming and fluffing their fur hoping they will get picked for a lap. Come on in and unwind after a long week! Its been rough here for our family and we need to just relax....................How was your day?

Got an early wake up call tomorrow. Going to continuing Ed class all day. Have a two hour drive there and it starts at 8. Help yourself to pizza and beverages. I will be anxiously waiting news on the FL meetup as well as pix from the UK meet up! Goodnite!

WOW it is a quiet night! The big concert was tonight before the kids head to California for competition! They were wonderful--especially my daughter's solo. Then again I am a little biased. She is a bit stiff but doing well. When she got off her stool for her bow, you couldn't see her! She is only 5'2" and her horn is 5'4"! All I saw of her off her stool was her top of a horn! Pretty funny looking!
Big dinner for the Jazz Band tomorrow. Set up is at 7am, so I best get some sleep. Hope all is well with everyone.

Hi ya MC. i'm fine tonight, had a wonderful day today. Took KapitiKats(KK, my sister) daughter to stay with my daughter in another city for the weekend. We went to a museum and saw an exhibition of Leonardo Da Vinci's machines. They had been made into models and some of them you could operate. It was incredible.

We met Meegz this morning at a Farmers Market, we did have fun. She goes to all the food stalls and found some goats milk Camembert and venison salami to buy as well as her usual several litres of apple juice. I bought her a bouquet of gorgeous autumn coloured lillies for her house. I also bought miniKK a toffee apple, probably what you would call a candy apple. It was a fantastic market compared to our one here. Masses of organic produce from fruit and veg to meat. Pictures,carvings,sewing,plants etc. You have fun at the yard sales tomorrow/today.

Hi, CM and Deb! Hope you're not feeling so tired this morning, CM. Is Maddie sleeping in again? Deb, we don't have a lot of really good yard sales here -- that's why I love spending hours browsing through trademe (our ebay) and op shops. One thing I loved about England -- GREAT car boot sales!
I have done some gardening, written half a house story and sent some page proofs off overseas today -- I feel quite productive! No housework done though :(

I don't know what happened last night. I was soooooooo tired I just went to bed at 9.30pm, I didn't even check into TDK.
We had a great day with miniKK and Meegz, we took the bus to town as it was free today, we showed Mr MS where Airy used to work. But the Da Vinci exhibition was the best part, it was stunning. Mr MS wasn't all that pleased I was carting him off to the museum, he was so pleased I did though. Some of the things Da Vinci did are still used today in engineering and Mr MS loved it all. The last time I dragged him off was to the Constable exhibition in Welly, again reluctantly, and he thoroughly enjoyed himself then too.Posted 3 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

I miss those yard sales..I am so jealous..We used to do those on a Sat then do brunch..now..too hard with the kids at the moment.
Maddie got up about 20 minutes ago :( lol...Abbie slept from 10-5:30 so that was nice. I did get some sleep in.

MS, I heard that was a fabulous exhibition, I'm sorry I missed it. Aren't men funny? You have to drag them somewhere and then they enjoy it! Now what did you do on Friday that made you so tired...?
