Remember that everything is new to them and they are just babies. They have to process everything and get comfortable with their new surroundings.
Try keeping them in a smaller area for awhile, like maybe just in your bedroom. Keep their food and water on one side of the room, and their litter box at the other side. (Cats don't like their food and their toilet too close together.) Let them play and explore for a while. You can sit quietly on the floor and either talk to them or read aloud to them, so they get use to your voice. Kittens are curious; if you hold still they will come to investigate you on their own.
One thing you want to be careful about is swooping down from above and picking them up. Many small animals have an instinctual fear of being grab by a flying predator and will run away or hide under something if they sense danger from above.
Give them time to learn that you are their new mommy. They will learn to love you back soon.

If they can move around under there, they arent going to suffocate! Did you get them some toys? try getting a few toy mice that rattle or jingle and sit on the floor and play with them, maybe even a foil ball will work. It shouldnt be to hard to get them out after that:) good luck

BAM, They are probably a bit afraid. I would let them get used to their surroundings. It might take a few days. I would wait until they come to you. Try just sitting on the floor and wait for them. Have patience! They are babies and probably confused. Be sure to put out water, food and a litter box. I'm sure that they will get used to you soon. Try not to grab at them or force them. I'm sure that once they get used to their new home they will be very snuggley! Congrats on your new family.
