   Hope this works.
   I met a lovely group of ladies and two nice gentlemen. Hard to believe how comfortable one can feel after "knowing" someone just by their comments on line, and then meeting them inperson.
   Just to let you know, each one of our TDK friends is a beautiful lady. MCW, just as I imagined, genuine, fun loving and easy to like. Polly's Mom, delightful, bright, and I enjoyed hearing of her most interesting experiences teaching language. Pika, sweet, pretty, loved hearing how very much she loves her furry babies. Rubia, lovely, fun and looking forward to seeing her again really soon (!). Kilroy, just darling, her honey is as sweet as she is and enjoyed hearing of her fascinating career.
   Thank you ladies, for the warm welcome and the special surprise treats. Thank you so much Rubia for including the "lillies". Cadbury is my favorite so hopefully they will share a bit with Mom.
   Well, I will try to post more of our other photos from the trip later, as I am totally wiped out. We went to see a play last night. Got to bed around 1 am , slept 4 hours before wake up call and then made the long trip back to LA.
   A joy to see all of my furry babies again....not a joy to see the laundry piled up to the ceiling in my laundry room!!

   Wow TL! Great photos! And thank you for your kind words. We did have a wonderful time, and it was so lovely to meet you and your family, as well as Mr. & Mrs. Kilroy and Pika! I am amazed that you have managed to post your photos so quickly, given that you must be totally jetlagged after that long flight. Clearly I have not done so well, and all I had to do was take a 45-minute train ride home! ;-)

   OMG, the pictures are fantastic. I think that GD should write a book on Bobby's Adventures and get it published with some of the proceeds going to the world humane society or whatever!!! What a story he has to tell.

   The pictures of the meet are spectacular! I am so glad you guys could get together! I told Rubia I have to make sure I add to my agenda to acquire the finding for a world TDK gathering!

    TL, Thanks for the great photos and for posting them so soon! My gosh you ladies are so lovely. Hope you are not too tired today. I'm sure you are going to snuggle with you beautiful kitty. At this moment I am doing laundry in preparation for our trip. Hopefully the "return" laundry will not be so labor intensive. I don't really love ironing! Have a wonderful Sunday.

    I am just so excited looking at all the pix from the recent meet-ups. I believe that there is a lot of love amongst us TDK'ers and it is obvious we are really like minded folks. It seems like the meetups are really fun and genuine when they do occur. When I met KittenWhisperer it was as if I knew her forever. The conversation was good and easy. She was/is so kind. I just wish the pix would have turned out. Thanks for sharing! I am with SM, GLOBAL TDK MEET! Where would we meet or how about a trip AROUND the world??!???!! I am gonna start playing the lottery. Let's see, if I win 50 Million or more that should get us all around the world......LOL

    ....Finally up after 12 1/2 hours sleep....and I only got up thinking about all the laundry waiting for me !! Boy, was I tired.
    It was really a joy meeting everyone, I'm glad you like the photos. We did talk about all of the other TDK members that we would just love to meet, so a world meet would be grand.
    CM, hope your ears were ringing as we all spoke of how pretty both your girls are.

    I echo Tigerlily's words about the meetup, it was absolutely wonderful, after a rather horrendous start (hubby and I left Oxford later than we should have, hmmph, not my fault), and were late, and in my case quite frazzled getting to Porter's.

    The entire group was lovely and all my stress went away inside of 10 minutes. WWM, you should know that several of us had the fish pie in your honor specifically. There were special treats for the humans, and even for the kitties (I can't wait to offer George his new chicken flavored kitty treats). Then the group was kind enough to troop along with hubby and me to our London hotel (thank you again, Polly's Mum, for leading the way), after which we retired to a pub for drinks and more visiting.

    I'm sure I'll have more to say about this lovely bunch of people, and I promise to get my pictures posted soon, but we've only been home about an hour and I'm beat. George is zonked out on the footstool behind me, having been thoroughly snorgled (anyone who wonders how Mr. Kilroy feels about the cat only needs to see him when we get home from a trip; the first thing he does is scoop George up and snuggle him).

    TL, how awesome. I am flattered that you all talked about my girls :) That is just wonderful...Such great pictures and I know everyone had such a fun time.
    I can't wait till I can meet someone from TDK. I have talked to so many on the phone and on the board. I still smile when I think how I just get wheeled into recovery with Abbie and Tigerlilly called..that was classic.
