  3. I'm trying to get my children in bed. When it hits 7:00, I'm done for the day. I can't comprehend anything!

  4. Hi, MC and 2P. I decided to run a couple of errands and ended up trying to cough up a lung while I was in a store. A lady offered me a throat lozenge. She rescued me in the nick of time! lol

    Hi, LB. :)

  5. Oh KW - You know I know how you feel ! Be careful to not displace a rib ! LOL

Posted 3 years ago by 2 Popoki #

  6. If I do displace a rib, I know to go to a chiropractor after your experience! :D

  7. Yes 2Pop! Whatevery your little heart desires! I DO enjoy Mahi Mahi! I think I will have some too!

LB, sorry about the kids running your ragged. How is kitty?

  9. LB, it didn't take long for me to end up going to bed before my kids did once they hit fifth grade or so. :)

  11. How are you feeling today, MC?

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  12. I'll have what 2p is having - and crab cakes!

I had real food today at lunch - a chicken salad sandwich. Now I'm stuck with the yogurt I would usually have for lunch.

  13. not so good. i feel like things are advancing quicker than i would like. i am having probs with my right foot now. tingling, toes curling and almost constant headache. did get an email from an old grad school friend. she had a friend who had the same thing and had surgery two months ago. she is about 55 and did marvelously. that made me feel better. in hospital 2 days, back to work in 3wks! keeping toes, fingers, paws crossed!

  14. Yay for real food, GD! Your tummy must be doing better. :)

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  15. YAY GD! REAL FOOD! That is a real upgrade. When are you ok to start liberalizing your diet? (NO, not back to a coffee breakfast!)

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  16. I know you are looking forward to getting the surgery over with, MC. I wish they could move the date up for you. :)

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  17. Didn't you have a doc appt today? Weren't you going to see about moving up the surgery? Are you donating your own blood? You are in my thoughts daily !

  18. My kits are taking great care of me right now. Boots is keeping my legs warm. Digit is massaging my stomach and Furl is asleep next to me. What great kitties. lol

  19. My appt got cancelled today. It was with a Nurse Practitioner for my pre-op. It has been rescheduled for May the 1st. No chance at that time that it will be moved up earlier. We only have two more Weds before my surgery Weds. Weds are the only days he does surgery at the hospital I am approved for! POOP! How is Boots settling in KW?

  20. I'm still not eating a lot or a lot of different things. I think last week's stress and then a bad start to this week was bad for me. I'm feeling okay, I just want to be cautious about what I eat so I can feel perfect!
I let myself eat the sandwich today since I won my match and I felt just fine afterwards. I just had a yogurt for dinner. When I get home in a bit over an hour, I'm having my gummi bears!
Oh, and I cheated today! I went to the grocery store after lunch with my team. My doubles partner and her 13 year old (it was bring your kid to work - or tennis - day today) went, too. I got my yogurts and decaf grean tea and the kid got a bag of peanut M&Ms! I had 4!!! It was the first chocolate I've had in 5 weeks! I'm just glad I was abble to stop after 4! :)

Sorry your foot is giving you trouble, MC!

  21. Boots is well settled in, MC. She seems quite pleased with her situation and has not displayed any bad habits. Digit and Furl have accepted her as one of the family. Pretty lucky! :)

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  22. I think 4 M&M's is pretty darn good GD! Enjoy those gummi bears! Wonder if they make gummi kitties?

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  23. Ooooh, gummi kitties!
I love chocolate but I've been afraid if I have some, I won't be able to control myself :)

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  24. Ok, fair enough, I can relate to that one!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  25. I have been on a chocolate binge for several days. I think I was trying to make myself feel better by eating it. Does it count if you eat chocolate for medicinal purposes?? ;) I ended up throwing away the last of it. I just can't let it in the house!

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  26. Agreed, if it is in the house, it is fair game! Therefore no CHOCOLATE in the house!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  27. Ally is doing well. I'm trying to get her to eat something other than the the kitten milk, but she isn't interested. I'm going to have to get some more KMR tomorrow. The kids are in bed...yay! Now I have 2 1/2 hours of peace before husband gets home from work.

Posted 3 years ago by linksboomerang #

  28. Time for me to get some dinner together. I'll check back later. :)

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  29. There's chocolate in my house, but I haven't touched it. My motto when it comes to eating is that it's easier not to start than it is is to stop once you've started. Don't know if that makes sense, but it does to me.

KW - you threw out chocolate??? I'm not in law enforcement of any kind, but I'm sure that must be some kind of crime!!!

Awwww, baby Ally likes her milk! Scritches to her!

  30. Bye KW! *waves*
