Good morning, all!
Stressing again!!! One of the girls on my team called me at 7:30am to tell me she can't play today!!! Now I'm stuck sending emails and making phone calls to try and find a sub which isn't happening at this late notice. I'll have to forfeit a position - again! The girls are driving me crazy doing this!!! After today, i'm going to have to tell them that they have to find their own sub if they can't play instead of making me do absolutely everything!!! -
Way to put your paw down GD! YOu give em hell! You are really too good a person!

Good mornin' to all... I think that I will take some coco....TGIF....Gallo is down for a nap, Julia is stalkin a bug downstairs, Laken is on the bed resting... and JW is out on the porch enjoying the view...I too have had a hard time sleeping but I think it is due to the kitten needing to be fed at night...on the food front..I am glad that I am not the only one with spoiled kits...

Yikes, are you OK MC??
GD, I absolutely agree that if people can't play they should have to find their own sub. That's how hubby's various groups do it, and it still turns into a big mess of round-robin phone calls and e-mails sometimes. His groups aren't competitive, though, just for fun.

Hi Chey - how have you been?
GD, I can't believe the positions you get jammed into sometimes. That really stinks.
I'm going to go to a garage sale tomorrow. My Mom will tell you that I already have a garage of stuff at her house, but this is no ordinary garage sale. It's for the animal shelter in my hometown. I have stuff that I am going to donate too, but I just might come across something, that's the fun thing about garage sales. I would have more, but since the dang house project took so long, it's now hubby's busy season and he hasn't been able to bring a lot of our stuff home yet for me to sort thru.

Morning everyone, those foster kittens were so cute!!!
Hope that everyone has a nice day.
CM, you are doing fine with Ms. Maddie, it does sound like she is dealing with lots of emotional stuff that a normal adult would have trub with dealing much less a 2 yr old.
GD, they can't play, let them find the sub...why do they want to make you do the work and make you feel guilty. Your friends sound like they are spoiled into thinking that they can just tell you and you will 'fix' it for them. Sorry unfluffy there for a moment, sigh. Hope that you have a nice day and a wonderful weekend my friend.
Joan, garage sale....woo hoo....I love garage sales, the hunt is always worth it :)
Ok, now to see if I can actually do something before lying down to sleep for a bit.....

AZ, they think that way because I'm the captain. Also, I'm the one who got the team together because my two friends run the league and I wanted to support them.
I just remembered what I did last summer, though, that worked well. I'll get the 6 players I need for every match and have myself be an extra in case someone cancels. It worked very well last year. I'd always go to the matches in my tennis clothes and be ready to go if needed and watch and coach if I wasn't. Summer is especially hard because so many people go away, but it worked out anyway, and I actually ended up playing more often than not. -
Hi all! Home from work and it is a gorgeous 82 degrees outside! Nothing is ever easy though. I came home and my driveway was blocked by the yard man. He saw me and waved and went back to work. I asked him to move his truck and trailer and he said "no, you can park down the street. I will be about 3 hours" He usually parks in my driveway (long) and goes around for the whole day and does all the lawns in the neighborhood. I have told the landlord but he doesn't want to ruffle feathers! Why is he even here, to roll over the lawn? There is no grass yet, its just brown stubble! OOOH some people!

Hi everyone!! Happy Friday to you too Metsa! Any exciting plans this weekend?

CM, how is the family feeling?
2Pop, I agree, most of them don't speak English. They tend to sit on my porch swing and use my outlets outside so I turn them off inside! No need to dawdle!
Cheri, get out and enjoy the sun. I was going to but the lawn man is here and he's annoying.
Metsa, hi! how are you today?Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

I'm good thanks, very glad it's Friday. Not much exciting plans, but I hope to get some shoes and accessories to go with the bridesmaid dress for my sisters' wedding. Getting closer, its on the 11th June! If it's sunny we'll go walking in the woods, see everything waking up with spring :).

We are getting better slowly MC...this was a killer cold. Nasty...
It's so nice here it's about 80 and so warm. Maddie is still napping and once she wakes up I will take her out to the backyard to play for a bit, then when Wayne comes home we will do an easy dinner of McDonalds or the like and maybe take Maddie to the park to play.
We have a 1st communion party to go to tomorrow so that should be fun. It's always nice to see all of our friends.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

I hope so..I am not even sure what a first communion is..I know it's regarding the catholic church, but that's about it...we are so bad when it comes to religion....

There are several sacrements you receive as a Catholic. When you are in about the 2nd grade you receive the right of First Communion. It is a sort of "right of passage" for children. It means you can take communion at mass. It also means you are at the age of reason where you can make the decision of right vs. wrong and make choices that will affect you and your soul. Prior to that, you are essentially absolved of your sins as you do not have the reason to know better. Not sure why they choose such a young age as most developmentalists feel you can make rationale decisions on right vs. wrong until about age 12. Other sacrements include; baptism, marriage, the last rights at death, etc.

Hi everyone. Beautiful day here in Chi town. About 82 right now. Loving it. Just wish I could get rid of this sinus infection. BLAH!
Just got back from getting my SCH to transfer the Jeep to my name. FINALLY! Tags, title and such about 185.00 and then have to buy a silly township tag at the town hall. ARGH! I can only imagine how much that will be.
Think I will load the kids in the Jeep and go play ar the lake for a little while. Sounds good to me.
Talk to y'all later.
