Good Morning all! I can't sleep as my legs are killing me so I got up to take some meds and then I fed the girls and then I took a bath and then I started unloading the dishwasher and then putting clothes in the machine.......you get the idea! We are so happy you are here today for the Cafe'! Betty and Wilma are your hostesses today and are wearing beautiful aprons with tulips on them. They are cleaning up from the NS and I am fluffing kitty pillows and picking up cat toys (drops in toy box). Cleaning and filling kitty bowls, brushing those who want to be brushed. The kitties stretch and go sit on the window ledge(s) which will soon be full of sunbeams! Windows are open to let in fresh spring air. We put beautiful bouquets of tulips on the tables as well as clean table cloths. Looks like today is a short order day and pastry day. We have scones, muffins, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, donuts, croissiants, stuffed chocolate croissiants, muffin tops, danish in a variety of flavors, and biscuits. We have all sorts of jams and jellies as well as fresh churned butter! Coffee/cappic/hot tea/juices/milk/sodas (if you need the caffiene fix and don't do coffee {me}) are available to drink. We have the big screens on with CNN (feel free to change the channel) and kitties anxiously awaiting laps and pets on the head. There is one here who keeps rolling over for belly rubs! Betty behave! LOL Come in and visit or just stop by, grab some b'fast, and enjoy your day. 85 degrees today in Chicago-land, how is the weather where you are? Welcome! The Cafe' is OPEN!

Nice picture of Wilma, I do like Molly's too though....changes the channel to Animal Planet, its time for the AP's funniest animals to come on...

I will have one of Betty in about a week. I have to admit I am partial to the one of Betty but don't tell Molly and Wilma! I may switch over to AP because I am going nuts with these painful legs!

Morning all! today is my first painting class, and I am SO EXCITED!.... in fact, if I don't get my rear in gear, I'll be late!!!... just popping in to say Hi! and wish everyone a happy day! Hope you feel better today MC!
... and CM you are on the right track with Maddie!.....you acknowledge her concerns, but the less you focus on the "monsters" the quicker they'll "go away"!..... and more quality time you can give her and saying we love you is absolutely the best medicine!.....

Morning ladies, I've wandered on over from the NS office. Sorry you've got sore legs MC, as CM says only a few weeks and that will all be sorted out.
Still waiting for Shadz to come in, she may just have to stay out tonight. It's definitely warm enough at 17C(63F) the same temp as your place Deb. It must be warm tropical air being pushed ahead on the bad weather we are waiting for.

MC, I think you read the answer to your question on the NS :) AV, I think we are on the right track too and glad it only took a couple of days to figure it out.
Have fun with your class!! how fun.Abbie is still asleep...it's been 11 hours now...I did check on her at 4:30am to make sure all was well :) I am so glad the first months are over and she is sleeping now..that was so hard.

AZ, I agree - lets watch Animal Planet! I know Bobby is hoping for Meercat Manor - his favorite show!I didn't sleep well at all! Went to sleep at 11:00 and Bob woke me up at 11:30. Got back to sleep around midnight and then he woke me up again at 4:02 (he was two minutes later than usual!). Then at 5:30, they started chasing eachother and making it impossible to sleep! Arrrrgh!
Had to open the gym by 7:45. Working til 1:00 then stopping by Crazy Cat Woman's and feeding her kittis. I'll be going back ther around 7:30 tonight to give Spice her insulin as CCW will be gone all day. -
MS, the night temps are good aren't they when it is about 17C....and with a slight breeze even better....wish we had rain but not necessarily bad weather but its not time yet...heard that Chicago (where my oldest daughter is) was being hit by loads of lightning strikes tonight..
AV, have fun with the painting class :)

Yay, Shadz is back in and tucking up in the bean bag again, must have been an urgent call of nature that she was answering. Now I can head off to bed, it's already tomorrow(Sunday).
Horror of horrors, I'm out of kitty milk, she'll just have to have some skim milk until I can buy more kitty milk in the morning. What a bad mummy I am.
Something has caught her attention outside, she is up on the windowsill peering out into the night. This could be a long night, I hope she settles down soon.

I think all the kits are restless, mine wouldn't settle down last nite either! Running and chasing each other up and down the basement stairs. Amazing how they sound like elephants when you are trying to sleep!

Poor GD, Bobby and Mi look so innocent and sweet! The devil just gets in them at night and off they go! CM, I will have some of those pancakes please. AZ, I love to garage sale, though I too, should be the one SELLING stuff and not BUYING anything! LOL Gonna lay down and try to get a nappie in. I am feeling nauseated.

Bobby's Auntie Ellen is having a garage sale today. If I hadn't taken last Saturday off for the Ft. lauderdale meet, I would have taken today off and joined her with all my stuff. She's going to do another one in a few months, so I'll join her for that one.
CM, I get up and check water, food, Bobby in general, but it doesn't work. The noise continues. His new thing is waking me up at 4:00 (sometimes) and 5:30 every day. Little butthead! -

Hello everyone on this dreary, rainy day! Yesterday was 80 degrees, today only 45! It's a good day to stay inside and watch a movie! We got "Australia" from Netflix, may watch that this weekend. Anyone see it and what did you think of it?
