  1. HI Katt!!
Never saw that movie but I so love Hugh Jackman!! YUM..
It was 83 yesterday and going to be 85 today. Nice...a big warm for me though. Will be turning on our air since we will be gone today and the house will be closed up.

  2. YUM is right, CM! I had all the windows open yesterday....it felt SOOOOOO wonderful! I won't turn the air on till I have to, I love the fresh air :))
Have fun at your party today!!

  3. Have fun CM! Eat some cake for me! K, I hear ya, 85 yesterday-stormy and cool today. Have the windows wide open for the girls to fluff their whiskers! I have Netflix too and Austrailia is in my line of movies to come. Let me know how it is, I'll be anxious to hear! Enjoy. I have "the Bucket List" myself to watch this weekend!

  4. An hour and a half to go. I don't know why Saturday goes so slowly at work!
Dentist's Wife called and asked me if I wanted to go to the mall. I told her I was working. I also really don't like going to the mall - especially if I have no money to spend! Anyway, she's feeling depressed again and her husband is out of town for a seminar. Arrrrgh! I'll probably end up calling her after work and feeding CCW's cats to see if she still wants to go do something. What I really need is a nap, not spend the afternoon counseling and cheerleading.

  5. I ujust counted today's check-ins - seven! Why do I even have to open the gym on Saturdays??? We've made $0.00!

  6. Oh GD! That is soooooooooooo boring! I just planted four pots of flowers and one pot of catnip. I hung a flag and then it started storming! UGH! I totally support you if you go home and nap, forget dentist's wife!

  7. MC, We have seen The Bucket List and absolutely LOVED it...it is funny and sad and one of those movies you think about for a long time afterwards. Sure hope you enjoy it, too! GD, that stinks the gym didn't make any money, you do wonder why you have to sit there and wait for people to come in, but then as long as you get paid for it, what the heck :)

  8. Yeah, I know, Katt! Saturday accounts for 5 of my weekly 30 hours, so even though it's boring, at least I'm making a bit of money.
Two more people came in 5 minutes ago. Arrrrgh - so much for leaving a bit early!
Also, I forgot to ask CCW if she put her stupid alarm on at home. I'll need to know before going over there. I'll need the code or need to know that it isn't on, or I won't be going. I sent her a text 20 minutes ago and she hasn't replied! Arrrgh! She lived between me and the gym, but still about 15 minutes from my place. With my luck, I'll get all the way home before she gets back to me :(

  10. Hi everybody, just checking in on this beautiful Saturday - my vacation is just about over, but I am actually looking forward to going back to work on Monday. It's about 80 degrees here so the Herd are basking on the screened porch. GD, I hope you aren't too bored at work - I would probably take my knitting to keep me occupied. Enjoy your afternoon, everybody!

  11. Hi, SNC. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!!

  12. I am convinced I have surgery induced ADHD! I can't do anything and yet I am doing everything! I can't keep on one task and that includes sleeping! I start something and then move on to something else. Nothing is getting done (completely OR thoroughly) and I need to clean the house and get laundry done before surgery! I really need to get a system for my bills as they are gonna cme fast and furious. Got my first one for 164 odd dollars yesterday. I hate that part!!!!!!!!!

    Posted 10 months ago by mollycat71 #

  13. How about making a list for yourself and trying to finish each thing in order of priority before moving on to the next? :)

I can only imagine the bills you will be getting, MC. Thank goodness for health insurance, but it is still a pain to sort through what is covered and what is your responsibility. Would a separate file for each entity sending you a bill help? Spreadsheet on your computer?

  14. I hear you MC! Today has turned into home repair day. First my kitchen faucet plumbing has sprung a leak somewhere - I was running water this morning and suddenly realized that water was coming OUT of the cabinet doors under the sink! Yikes. Once it gets all dry I will have to crawl under there and tighten things back up. And here is one of my pet peeves - why do ALL the lightbulbs burn out at the same time? This week, I lost 2 bathroom vanity lights, the hall light, one bedroom light, the downstairs hall light, and one bulb in my downstairs overhead light (special bulbs that I will now have to buy). Sigh. I am also doing laundry today - in my house it is cheap entertainment for the cats (I have a front loader). Nibs really loves it.

Do try to get a nap in if you can, MC. I worry about you; your surgery can't come soon enough.

  15. Hi, NNGM. I love the image of Nibs watching the laundry go round in the washing machine! lol

I'm heading off to get my day going.

  16. Well I have developed a sheet with what needs to get done before my surgery, it is currently 8 pages long! Do you think maybe I am a bit obsessive? I don't do spread sheets too well, I don't understand computers much. I tried to nap twice but got back up after ten minutes as my head was going a mile a minute. Did some laundry, dishes, loved the girls, went outside and did some work, took a walk, you get the idea! OOOOOHHHHHH, not to mention I am so nauseated I want to toss my cookies! AARGH

  17. ...popping in to say good afternoon!..... my painting class was SOOOOOOO much fun!!!!.... three hours whizzed bye!.......have friends coming over to dinner tonight, gotta run to the store, then prep!......can't stay, just wanted to check in...... will try and post later (if anyone wants to see it) my "attempt" at painting... we went to a beautiful park, with a cute little bridge..... Wow, some artists in the class were impressive!..... I was really inspired!....

Molly - try sucking on a pepermint.... it really helps with nausea!...

  18. "Thank goodness for health insurance, but it is still a pain to sort through what is covered and what is your responsibility."

Truer words were never spoken. My illness in September involved 3 hospitals, 2 ICU's, 3 doctors and 2 physical rehab places. the paperwork was a nightmare !!!
