  2. Sleep well and hopefully wake rested and feeling much better in the morn KW :)

Well on my way to w*********k, so see the late night shifters (if they are still awake) on the flip side of the witching hour :)

  3. Peeks in, all one can hear is the soft whispering sounds of soft snoring from the corners of the room....

It's 02.13 AZ time, ...the night is warm in NZ and cold or at least chilly in USA with Old Man Winter on the out..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis Moonshadow, LV, & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...

    check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box

check - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.

Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there!

Special thoughts for all those with Swine flu and I hope the authorities world wide can shut it down.

  4. *Door creaks open, light snaps on, hesitant steps wake the kitties nearest the door, who raise their little heads, yawn, stretch and go back to sleep.*

    Hullooooooooooo? Anyone here?

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  5. Helllllllllllllloooooooooooooo I'm here(waves madly) Yoooohoooo Jcat

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  6. *bounces in*
    Hi Jcat!!! *waves wildly*

Posted 6 months ago by cricketsmama #

  7. MS!!! You were hiding...*waves to MS*

Posted 6 months ago by cricketsmama #

  8. Hiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
    *Waves wildly and madly back.*

So nice to see you two again! Whatcha been doing? Well, I know you've been asleep CM, but what are you planning to do?

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  9. Hi CM, I wasn't hiding, I was just crouched down playing with the kitties.
What have you got planned for today?
Jcat, I hear it's been wet your way. Have the kits been bringing in more mice?

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  10. MS, it has, it's been raining off and on. No more mice today -- well, Jasper has been lazing around most of today inside -- and he has no teeth anyway --and I don't know where Lib went to but she stayed suspiciously dry, lol.

Jasper's been sleeping so long lately, I have to keep poking him to make sure he's still with us... I'm starting to wonder if his insulin dose is a bit too high again.

  11. We had a very hot day, expected to get to 22C. I was out taking my car for the dreaded WOF, Yay it passed. I spent about 90 mins walking around the shops at the Mount and it was way too hot to be out walking. This evening the temperature is still around 18C outside, unusual to say the least.

  12. It's set to be warm again here tomorrow MS but to be honest I'd rather have it cold and sunny than warm and rainy -- though I suspect the garden wouldn't. And it would help if I got some new gummies -- mine have holes in them... Good that your car passed its wof, I opened the door of mine today and looked at the rust and thought, oh oh...

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  13. Mr MS and I were out yesterday and it rained while the car was parked. As I drove out of the carpark a 'Niagra' of water poured down on my head and down my back from the sun roof. Of course I squealed and Mr MS wondered what I was doing. He couldn't see what had happened as it was dark. once he knew he had no sympathy for me and sat there and laughed. Hrrruuumph.
I'm not a fan of rust in cars, had more than my fair share of that over the years.

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  14. Oh, no, how unkind of Mr MS. (I would have laughed too, tee hee but usually that kind of thing happens to me. But I would have handed you a towel, MS, when you got home...)

I have had a dull day, just proofreading (which I quite like really) but nothing exciting happened :( which is probably something to be grateful for...

  15. Sorry to have run...had to jump in the shower before the circus wakes up...lol
Maddie is awake, I hear her on the monitor....
No plans today going to be near 86 degrees...way to hot. I plan to let Maddie play in the backyard in the morning then we are inside with the air on after lunch!
((Jasper)) I hope he is okay jcat.

  16. I am still here, stuffy head and all, no bells on my toes though...they made way too much noise today!

    Waves @ MS, jcat, & cm :)

Posted 6 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  17. 86 degrees in spring, wow, that IS hot.

I'm not worried about him at the moment, CM, but if I start to get worried, I'll take him for a check-up. His vet is very good (and constantly surprised by how well Jas seems to be doing for a cat with so many problems) and not expensive (thank heavens).

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  18. Awww, Deb, those rings on your fingers and bells on your toes really suit you!

*Waves at Deb, then waltzes over and gives her a big hug.*

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  19. jcat, thanks my friend, the hug is a good thing...

Supposed to be 86F here today with loads of blue sky, not a cloud in sight nor rain...

Posted 6 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  20. Did some converting and 86F is 30C. That is hot, way too hot for Spring surely.
Hi Deb,(waves back). Sorry about the head. The bells could have been interesting though.

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  21. Oh, lovely weather, Deb, soak it up if you can...

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  22. Hi Deb (((Hugs))
I hope you feel better soon.
86 is way to hot for spring...we will be in the 60's tomorrow and the rest of the week and rain...
I am glad you can convert MS. I have no clue about the conversions :)
Maddie is up so I must go make breakfast and get her dressed. Hugs to all and I shall see you later.
Have a good night MS and jcat!

Posted 6 months ago by cricketsmama #

  23. Cm, I'm a whizz at converting.

  28. Oops, sorry for the late reply. I was distracted making Mr MS's lunch and Shadz came and begged for cheese and has now gone outside. I hope she returns inside quickly.
Hi AV, put your apron and gloves on and happy cleaning. I'm sure you don't need to do much though.
I'm heading off to bed now, enjoy Monday everyone. It was pretty good here.
