I took Mogley to the vet Sat because his left eye was cloudy. She examined his eye thouroughly and determined there was no damage to the eye but gave us anti inflamatory drops. She then said that strange symptoms like that could mean there is something else going on. We did blood tests. Everthing they could test for that day came back fine, FIL and FIV were negative. She just said he was a little dehydrated and gave him fluids. Now the scary part is that they tested him for FIP and they had to send that test out and I'm waiting to hear the results today. For those that don't know, FIP is a non-curable, fatal virus. She said it is most common in pure bred cats and usually most commonly detected between 6-12months and he just turned 1. Needless to say I'm extremely worried about my baby.

Ok, well I called the vet at lunch(was afraid of getting bad news while at work) and she said his CBC's all look normal thank God! She said they will call me in a few days to check on how his eye is doing. She said if it doesn't get better she'll refer us to an opthomologist and if it does then we'll just keep monitoring him and chalk it up to a generic eye irritation. Has anyone else had kitties with cloudy eye that turned out to be nothing? Seems pretty strange to me.
Also, thank you for all that prayed/had good thoughts for Mogley. -
{{{hugs}}} Mogley....
