   The longest I have left him has been 8 hours and he was fine, but tomorrow I have an all day meeting followed by dinner so would not be home until after.
   I feel sooooooooooo guilty about leaving him!!!!!

   Awwwww. We all feel guilty when we leave them for any length of time, just make sure you leave plenty of food, water and toys and he should be fine.

   Sometime if I'll be gone for any amount of time I will leave the tv on Animal Planet.

   i'll give him breakfast before I leave, he will then have plenty of dry food, water and toys/bed. I also leave the radio on :)

   Kittens sleep a good part of their life--as a matter of fact, even adult cats sleep an average of 18 hrs. a day. As long as your kitty has food and water, and perhaps confined to an area, he should be fine. He may cry a bit, but he'll go back to sleep and then be ready for action when you get home!!

   As long as he has food, water and toys, like 2B said - he should be ok. Unless he's a grudge kitty like Maverick. When I was gone all week before last he was very mad at me when I came back. He wouldn't even eat he was so cheesed at me. But he's ok now.

    I leave the tv on for my boys all the time, just to keep them company. Bobby especially likes to watch it every now and then and Animal Planet is his favorite.

    If you went to the Gravatar site and added photos, select the one you want, then log out. It may take a little while to show up, but you can press Control F5 and your pic should show up.

    With food and water and toys he will be fine... They sleep a LOT! When I was gone away for a while, my old cat would greet me when I returned by sitting in the middle of the living room with her back to me! After a while she would warm up again, but she was just putting me in my place. But you really aren't going to be gone thaaat long.

    My Jackson is also just 3 months and I have a pretty busy life. I have had to leave him all day like you are describing and he was fine. I feel awful and I prepare myself for a mad kitty when I get home...but he is fine with plenty of food and water.
