  1. It's 2 AM and I just called 911 for Victor. He is back in intensive care now. He was having chest pains, his BP was 220/110 and his sugar was 196. He was very confused, not making sense when he talked and very clammy-sweaty. This is different from what happened before with his congestive heart failure. I am so scared.

  2. I'm sorry RW,,not sure what to say,, the clammy sweaty part sounds like low blood sugar when Cindy was haveing one of her spells ,,glad you called 911 ,,is there someone you can call to stay with you

  3. No, I am alone at least till morning. Then I can call my friend, Lora. The EMT's were really great. They gave him aspirin and nitroglycerin and that helped a little right away. This is the 6th time since Dec. he has been in the hospital. We just had our 3rd anniversary last week.

  6. Thank you-that means a lot. I think I will try to go to bed and get some sleep. I wonn't be able to visit him tomorrow-wheelchair cabs have to be ordered 24 hrs in advance. But my son will go up and let me know what is going on, and I will be able to go the next day. Most of the time I don't mind being in a chair and on a ventilator, but times like these make me want to become a disability activist! 24 hours in advance?! :-( At any rate, our kitties are worried, so I think I will sign off and we will go comfort each other - they have relaxing purrs! 'night--and thank you for listening.

  21. Just heard from the hospital-don't know a lot yet, but they did confirm he had a heart attack, and said it was a good thing we got help there so quickly. (He was mad at me for calling 911-wanted to wait till morning.) My son is on his way up to the hospital and will call me with news in a bit. Thank you for the prayers and support--I haven't stopped shaking yet, nor been able to sleep, but the kitties and I are curling up together.
