  1. SM, please hound your dr about testing your thyroid hormone level. If it's off even a tiny bit, it can cause all kinds of problems. Ask him to not only test your TSH but also your free T2 and T3 levels. If your energy is low, and your temperature it low, that sounds every alarm bell for a thyroid imbalance. Stay after him!!! And I'll keep you held in prayer.

  2. I'm so behind since I have been gone! But you know how special you are, SM. Have to admit that I laughed so hard at the partner temperature thing while you are sleeping. As if that would work!!!! *snort*

  3. Thank you both. Working on mock trial stuff--my kids went nuts! Each witness will be on the stand for hours at this rate! The first time a mock trial lasted longer than a first degree murder trial! And all they really want is the pizza!

  5. SM, so sorry things are trudging along and you are not getting better. As a scholar of the brain, your cerebellum is the location of the "temperature" regulation system. If that was where your TIA was located you could be suffering residual effects from that. That can go on for up to six months before it evens itself out, the brain tissue heals very slowly. Also the anterior or occipital portion of your brain sits atop of the cerebellum and may too, have been effected in the TIA resulting in visual disturbances. On top of that the thyroid issue may be rearing its ugly head again due to the insult to your cerebellum. As for all the blood work, they were looking for certain proteins in your blood to determine if you were at risk of another TIA and/or stroke. That way they could give you meds to combat something really bad from happening. I too, have temp problems as it is my cerebellum that is squooshing out of my head! Sometimes I am red as a lobster I am so hot, other times I am wrapped in two blankets while wearing sweats. Our brain is a magnificent but complex organ. Be an advocate for it, if you don't get the answers you want please keep asking. I learned that, it took me a year but I am finally getting my brain all fixed up. Please know we all worry about you and think you are WonderWoman for all you do! Hang in there and know the prayers are flowing freely your direction! ((((SM))))
