  8. Kath, Stay where you are!! I'm so sick of civilization!! concrete everywhere...I would love to smell some fresh air!! I don't know if I remember what air without smog smells like! It's only April and everything here is starting to turn brown!

  15. All HAIL KING GIZMO! Those are fabulous pix! I love your granddaughter too! I must say you don't look old enough to have a granddaughter who is 9! Isn't the Milwaukee zoo a nice place to visit? I can definitely tell you are up in Wisconsin, it is so beautiful there! I used to live in Eau Claire and I thought it was gorgeous and the air was so clear and the animals abundant! Thanks for sharing!

  16. Thanks guys!! MC, our daughter lives in Eau Claire! She's been there about 5 years! I love that city....has everything, but yet small enough to get around easily :) I was a young grandma, MC....my son was only 17 when he had her...she has been the GREATEST blessing to so many people :)) I wouldn't change a thing! I raised her the first 2 years so son and girlfriend could finish school, and they did! She and I have a very special bond, more like mother and daughter :)

  17. How far are you from Eau Claire? I like to go up there about one weekend a month in the spring and summer. I just think it is so pretty and you are right it is big enough to have all you need but not too big. Maybe we could meet one day for lunch if you go to see your daughter! Just a thought.....

  20. Just seeing this now, MC....we live about 2 1/2 hours from Eau Claire...we aren't close to anything, it seems! But, what fun it would be to have lunch with you! I would love it!!!
