Yes,but even regular flu kills thousands a year,hopefully this one is not more virulent.(They don't really know yet)
I'm staying at home a whole lot until I know more.

They say it could be like the flu epidemic of 1918. However I just heard that they should have a vaccine by next week. It is the sick and infirm who are at the highest risk. Let's pray they are wrong!

We have a case that went to the hospital today. Flu like symptoms and just got back from Mexico. I have 5 out so far with flu like symptoms. One of my kids came back yesterday--spinal meningitis was in the hospital 2 weeks. Kinda scary that stuff spreads so rapidly--I have tissue with a big bottle of germ-ex and I send them to wash their hands with soap and water.

I worry because there are a lot of Mexicans living in this area who have not doubt been traveling back and forth. I'm constantly washing my hands, too!
