2b - My sister had a cow kitty named PJ (I can still hear my dad saying his name, emphasizing the J). I've often wondered if he and Mr. Bug have found each other and hang out at the Bridge together; seems like they made similar stamps on their humans' hearts.

Joan, that stamp on my heart will never fade! My boy was so special, so unique. If you click on my catster you can see Mr.Bug, let me know if he looks like PJ. That would be great if they found each other at the bridge, they could play in the pasture together...hahaaha

Yep, when I think of Mr. Bug, I think of PJ. They're buds for sure!
Chey, I used to call Jiggs my wookie, since he was big, brown and furry!Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Morning all. Glass of OJ and some bacon and eggs would be nice. I got up early this morning to finish cleaning my house. Pooh is coming in for a visit. I got to listen to a lot of morning news and the scoop on the flu viris is that since it is a brand new strain with elements of avian flu thrown in, no one one the planet as any immunity against it. That is why in Mexico it has affected otherwise healthy people. The other component is that the area where the flu originated is a very poor region where hygine and healtcare standards are pretty low. Also access to information is low, so people weren't getting the word until many many were affected.

Okay here I am and Max is napping! Poor baby made changes to our room and his playpen! Making changes for Mystie's eventual arrival! Set up second litter box and filled it ith more litter then the playpen one in hopes of ecouranging him to use it! He has peepeed in it so that's good! He keeps racking th eother playpen litter box though and moving the litter around! Moved food and water dish out to new locations and added the second pair! As of right now both water and food dishes are in use! I split his bowl's dry crunchies into his bowl and hten new one for Mystie and water set up too in both ! I am jus thoping he doens't decide to try and go swimming since they are now not in the playpen with the playpen floor pan! Gonna have to find somehting to use jus tin case though!
So thought i'd stop buy and check in!

ANge, I am so glad you are starting now to get Max Max used to changes. I think she should be Mystie Mini! I can't wait to see more pics. Hi AV! How is your afternoon going?

Hi KK!.... my afternoon has been busy.... packing, getting ready for our trek to Daytona Friday for Hubb's golf tourney, then to UF Sat. to see Son get inducted into Blue Key, then up to NC for a week - taking both Mother and MIL....
.... go so frustrated this afternoon - my handy man up there (who seriously is the nicest guy in the world ) called and said when he went over to "unwinterize" the house, he found a water leak in some of the pipes!...... so then I had to call around for a plumber and beg him to fix it between now and when we arrive Sunday. Luckily everyone up there is like Andy Griffith - so nice and always willing to help - this guy is going to go fix it tonight for me!...... hoping it isn't extensive, or expensive!!! keeping paws crossed!
-
Paws crossed for you AV. We found someone to fix the leaking roof at our house for less than $200. The majority of the roof is in great shape and these folks are going up to replace the 3-4 missing shingles and we are back to being water tight.

Thanks KK, I'm hoping it isn't too bad!..... my handy guy is soooo reasonable - he charges me 1/4 of what the community maintenance people would to winterize, or un.... and he does a little bit of everything!... a little plumbing, electrical, and is a really good carpenter!... he couldn't do the plumbing job because he works alone, and you really need two people - one to turn the water on, the other to go around and check the leaks.... .I mean, he could, but told me it would take him too long and cost too much - a plumber that has a crew would be cheaper, and he found me a local one that is reasonable!..... I'm luckly to have him!....

Hi all! I am baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! My internet has been down and it took 5 calls to Comcast before they finally got out here to fix it. What a day! Had to get a new modem, a new cable box, new wires (suspiciously chewed thru by kitties?!?!), and a whole new package! YIKES! My toilet overflowed, I dumped the litter box and got called up for jury duty while I am in the hospital! Wow! I need a nap!

I loved when I called the jury office and said: "I'm sorry I won't be able to make it, I am having brain surgery" The lady was very nice and said: "Wow, now I have heard a lot of excuses but NEVER that one before!" I asked if I needed a doc's excuse and she said I sounded like a very kind, honest person. She then said no and asked if I just wanted to pass on the obligation (I could due to the seriousness of my illness) or serve later. I have always wanted to do my constitutional duty so I said I would do it at a later time. She got me right in for August!

Yup! M & M!
Mom wanted that!
And gramp's had to have him tied to her so we went with Grandpa's Soft Spot!
I had, Mystie, Melody, Maya, and Mia picked out by M names I liked!
I figured had she been a blue or sillver tabby or a solid blue Mystier would work even a dilute calico or tortie it would have worked for!
I really liked it and was hoping the name would work out!
