  1. LOL Ange, I love her name, and grandpa should be proud!..... and you're right, it will probably take you a year to talk grandpa into "Thor"... but by that time, Max and Mystie will have him wrapped around their little coonie paws!!! LOL

  2. Hahahha I am not pressing my luck there with Sd! i will be content with two until i get a place of my own through inheriting hahahah! Then I will add one or two more hahahah! A ginger tabby wth or with out white male for Thor, and another female maybe a patched or a tortie or a tortie with white! But I am content to wait until the timing is right for them and I have a bigger place hahaha! gonna be a tad tight in my room for 2 cats and me!

  3. Hi all! Checking back in!
I won my tennis match but somehow I hurt my foot. It didn't start hurting until I was on my way home, but it's been hurting a LOT since! I've iced it twice, elevated it, taken Tylenol and it's no better! I'm supposed to play tomorrow morning and doubt I'll be able to :(

  4. Maybe if you keep off of it you will be able too GD! If not take care of it and play when it's better!

  5. ok, I am really getting freaked out now, buy all the articles that have come out lately (thank my mother for sending them all to me!).. about bed bugs!.... they say it's epidemic, and that you need to pull the covers back and inspect all hotel rooms.... and here I go tomorrow - two different hotels in two days!... should I be worried? or am I being parinoid ??!!!!

  6. Hi all - just noted the calling Scarver thread and wondered if anyone had heard from Leeny lately?

  7. Ange - it hurts badly even when I don't walk on it. It's constant pain no matter what I do or don't do :(

  8. GD - you've done all the right things for it - just stay off it as long as you can.

AV - never hurts to check your hotel sheets but I wouldn't get too paranoid.

  10. KK, I'll try! I'm talking with a PT at the gym about it. He says it's a good thing that it didn't start hurting while I was playing, so at least that's something!
    How's Ringo?

Milo was BAD last night! Last night, I was wondering what he was doing next to the bed. I reached down and the little stinker had gotten the Furminator from the counter somehow and had dragged it to the floor and over by the bad. And chewed off the whole end of the handle!!!! :(

  11. Thanks, 2p! It's frustrating because I was starting to play more and get better and really getting back to playing and now this!

  12. GD, go with what the PT says. We therapists can certainly help you. Did he tell you to follow the RICE (Rest Ice Compression Elevation) principle? You may need to be gentle with it for a few days. Meaning putting most of your weight on the other foot. Keep it elevated at much as possible and go 20 mins on for ice, 20 mins off etc. In two days you can switch to heat, again 20 mins on, 20 mins off! Bobby and Mi were waiting for me at WalGreen's the other day! YAY! AV, I have worked in hotels and if it is a reputable chain, believe me those sheets and comforters are washed in HOT HOT water. Only thing is, the comforters don't get washed after every visitor! Don't sit on it, immediately take it off! KK, haven't heard from Leeny in a while either! Oh dear! M2MC, I love your coonies! I am a coonie freak!

  13. LOL at Milo. When I was in bed reading last night I heard Ringo in the ensuite bathroom making noises. So I investigated and he had discovered the toilet paper and was happily pulling the roll off the holder and shredding it! That was soon ended. Don't want that habit forming. I forgot to shut the bathroom doors when I went to work this morning though so I dread what miniKK and I might come home to this afternoon.

  16. Awww, Ringo was having fun!
I'm kind of worried Mi might have swallowed some of the pieces he bit off. I found some, but don't know if there were more. I'm wondering if his bad habit of chewing on things is why his belly is huge. I'm glad I got insurance for him! He's going to the vet in a couple of weeks for shots (was going Mon. but I'm postponing it) and I'll see if the vet recommends an x-ray or something.

MC, PT didn't really recommend anything, but said he'd take a look at it. Then he forgot and left! I hope he'll be back tomorrow - if not, I'll find him on Facebook!
