She is up and it appears she is now without a boyfriend--like we couldn't see that one coming! She is upset because she likes him, but his moodiness and after last night, she says she is fine. I saw the red puffy eyes. In the meantime we will do the laundry and get ready for another week of school.

Good afternoon! I got in a nice nap. Bobby is napping, too. I'm going to take him out later and try to make him tired for tonight.
SMM, I think they're healthy pounds, I've lost. I can't eat too much at a time, and I also can't allow myself to get hungry as both aggravate my stomach. So I eat a little every couple of hours, I'm never hungry and I've done really well with staying off the coffee, chocolate and any of the other forbidden foods.
I was reminded last Saturday when I had lunch at Chili's how food can make my stomach hurt again. I just had grilled chicken and rice, but it had too many herbs and spices and I had a stomach ache the rest of the day. Feeling like that will keep me away from "bad" food.
If you need to lose weight, don't look at the big number you want to lose - it'll be way too overwhelming. Tell yourself you want to lose 5 or 10 pounds and when you accomplish that, go for another 5, and so on. -
Back from brunch. It was soooo good! Had French toast made from thick-sliced challah bread. It was as described--soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The only trouble was that it was deep-fried. Gah! Tasty but bad for me. :) That and a mimosa puts me in the mood again for a nap. I now have all three cats draped on me as I sit in my recliner. lol

I just woke up from a nap. Had strange dreams. Both kitties came to nap with me. Sylvester was up by the pillow again. Mia down by my knees. It is so comforting when they do this.

Must be time to wake up from naps! I just did too and boy was I sweating, both girls were piled up on me and we were all three snoring! It was good but I still feel exhausted. Right now we have stuffed green peppers baking in the oven!

I've been in the garden planting! I planted about eight herb plants only to realize that they won't be in the sun enough. So Mr. WWM is outside dutifully dragging the pots they are planted in to a sunnier location. They are on a "pot tree". It's hard to describe. Basically it's a wrought iron stake that holds flower pots that decrease in size and balances them in a staggered position. I can't find that guys website but they are the prettiest pots when you get them planted.

That sounds great! I planted some flowers today with supervision of the girls from the window ledge. I also planted a tomato plant in a Topsy Turvy thingee I got last year. I was so disappointed as I only got TWO whole tomatoes off my plant last year! So hopefully the TT will provide me an abundance of tomatoes as it promises!

MC, was that the bag that hangs upside down and the tomatoes grow out of the bottom? I don't have room in our yard for a vegetable garden, but I would like to have tomatoes. I have wondered if that hanging planter thing works. Of course, we feed the birds so they would most likely eat any tomatoes that might appear. I wish that I had some room for lettuce, too, but I don't.

Yes it is one of those upside down hangy things! I live in a duplex so I have NO ROOM for a garden so this is my substitute. I am hanging it from the porch. I think the only reason I had two tomatoes last year is I had a "patio tomato" plant and the animals ate off the buds. This is hung up high and so I am going to try it. Got it at Walmart for 9.99 (they also have them at WalGreens as one of my coworkers got one too!)

I think that I might try it. What have I got to lose, and maybe we would actually get some tomatoes. I did put a patio tomato plant in a pot last year but the birds got the little tomatoes as soon as they appeared.

YUM! Just finished my stuffed peppers and they were yummy! Now my tummy is full and I could do another nap! The girls are watching the birds from the windows and chattering with them. I am so thirsty today I can't seem to get in enough fluids. (I am having the girls watch the tomato plant!)
