Good Evening all! It was a gorgeous day here in Illinois! Sunny and 71 degrees. Betty and Wilma have chosen a cook-out theme tonite! We have burgers, hotdogs, bratwurst, sausages, chicken breasts and turkey burgers. Inside we have potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, potato chips/dip, and a fresh fruit platter (with dip!). We have lemonade, ice tea, and all beverages from the bar! The girls are helping the agency kitties place red checkered table cloths on the tables with outdoor candles! We would love for you to stop by, have a bite and visit! Welcome, let us know how your day was! The NS kitties are running around like crazy looking for lovin' from YOU! The are looking for scritches and belly rubs. Purrs for all! The NS is OPEN!

You are so lucky, here in new york its been raining for 3 days. I wish we had a nice day here for a bbq. I love the classic red checkered table clothes. Man your post is making me hungry, all i ate today was some spagetti with a glass of cokacola. i wish i was there in illinois.

Mc, good to see you posting so I know you are ok. Trying to keep up, but alot going on. Thanks for opening night shift and am playing with the kittys! Jeff good to see you, I hope you are enjoing your new home. Raining here in pa as well, and seems to be doing so for the next week or more. Feels like I'm living in London, no offense to our overseas friends, but enough is enough here!!

Well it was a normal day, i think im getting sick, probly the swine flu, i hope not, i have a kitten to take care of, but Bambi was fine, her usual meowing, im happy to see her eat finally, and i bought her a new bed. At first she didnt like it, but i put my arm in shirt in it, she went in and meowed for me, so i put my arm in the bed and waited for her to fall asleep, she still is. but she'll start meowing as soon as i get off my couch, im using a laptop.

Glad to hear it. I've been sick with a flu like thing or a really bad cold. Spent Sat in bed and was better yesterday. Took an antibiotic I had in the house and I think that did the trick pretty much. Ex husband is in hospital for over a week, not well. We were like friends more than husband and wife. I have been in touch with his sister and trying to help the family go through this tough time. Work is not prepared for the buyout and it is going crazy right now. So dealing with alot right now, but doing ok just the same.

Sorry you are getting sick, Jeff. I bet you were relieved to come home and see that Bambi was fine. Good job with softening her food for her. You will get all kinds of great tips from people here. So many TDKers have experience that can be helpful to others. We all help each other out and celebrate even the smallest victories--like kittens finally pooping! ;)

Jeff, thought the same thing, but not been to mexico or out of my area. The media is blowing this thing over the top. There is alot of influenza going around, (summer flu) and you may have the same. I hope you feel better soon. Unless you went out of the country or were in contact with someone who did, it's just really a bad cold or "flu". Hope Bambi is healing you as did my Lady!

KW, they bought out a co in Redmond Wa, and we know have to deal with putting out orders from their plant that had 5+ people to do, we have 2! Long story, we are doing ok, as best we can. Laid off 4 people 2 weeks ago in other areas, made me scared so far so good.
Thanks MC, you just take care of yourself, we will be fine.

It's more than likely just bad thunderstorms (or thunderboomers as they call them here). It flooded here three weeks ago, and it flooded again last week. I'm just glad I'm on the top floor.
