HELP!!! I need Shadz!!!...... we have mice!...... found out that under my kitchen sink, over the winter here in NC , the mice got into my "thistle" that I feed the finches, and they tore open the bag and made a mess!!!!!....... Son bought "live" traps and baited them with peanut butter, so hopefully we will get and release them.... I kept wondering why Abby was "sniffing" around strange places, and now I know.... I don't think she would "kill" them, she's never really hunted before (except roaches and lizzards)..... oh this is an adventure!... LOL

JCat, this club we're going to is looking worse and worse and I'm having my doubts about oing there. We've already signed the roster, so we're stuck for the whole season (which starts Sep. 09 and goes to May 2010) unless I can talk every single girls on the team into maoving to a different club as a team - and find another club that can and will accomodate us. Arrrrgh!

GD, I'm really sorry, but I think it's possible that Shaddo and/or Jiggs came to see Bobby. They used to do the same thing, except it was whining to go out. Actually I guess it's about right; feline hunting time is just before dawn...

Morning everyone! GD, if it is any consolation, I get a 5:00 am wake-up call from Thierry every morning. Joan, I'm glad that Lela hasn't abandoned Larry all together. Sweet to think of him protecting everyone during the thunderstorms.
Has anyone ever noticed that clean carpets apparently nauseate cats? Every time I vacuum and clean up the spots on the carpet, within an hour, new barf has been deposited!

I hear you about the feline alarm clock, George is a 5:30am kind of cat. Never mind that breakfast time is 6...
Miserable yucky headache again today :( Debating taking a pill, but I'm at work and sometimes they make me loopy.
Hubby and I went to a Broadway play last night, unfortunately it wasn't very good. Had a decent cast, David Hyde-Pierce is the star, but it's a really old play that probably wasn't funny the first time around and hasn't aged well. Luckily we only paid $3.50 per ticket. Even with the tickets being released to the discounters, the theater wasn't even half full.
Good news is, we should have our bathroom back tomorrow - yay! I had to shower at the gym today, and last night when I went down to use the maintenance room bathroom, something icky went scuttling out of sight when I turned the light on - ewwwww!

Shaddo and Jiggs!!! Teaching my innocent Bobby bad habits! :)
The problem is that he doesn't stop - he'll whine for half and hour to an hour so I can't go back to sleep. And then at 6:30, he'll whine again, wake Mi up and chase him around until I just give up on sleep.Played good tennis with XBF. We just played 45 minutes so I wouldn't wear myself out before the match tomorrow - and because we already played Sunday and yesterday, so everything worked pretty well today.
Still haven't found a sub for Friday and don't know what'll happen with the membership for next year. I guess I'll speak to the girls about it tomorrow at the match. -
Brought in the catnip plant that I was growing on the porch for the girls. Instanly the girls awoke off my bed. Almost immediately after that they both made a deposit on the rug in the living room! I can't believe those little piggies and how quickly it all came back up! I was gonna scrub the carpets this weekend but I guess I get to work on that here today! YAY

barfiest - I like that word, KYK! I do agree, though. I could swear that Shaddo and Jiggs took turns barfing, on the carpet of course. At least Leela cries a bit just before. Bad news is that she hides so I have to hyperextend myself to reach the exact center under the bed...
Oh, by the way, my family has always referred to it as "the hicka hicka sound".

Mine never throw up catnip!
Bobby throws up sometimes if he eats too fast or back when I fed him Nutro. Mi has lived with me for over a year now and has NEVER thrown up :)I work with idiots, did I ever mention that? Big Boss and an MMA fighter buddy of his were flipping tractor tires outside and hit a pipe. Water everywhere - including seeping through the wall and into the closet!!! So now the pulmer is here and we have no water!

The plumber ended up drilling a pretty large hole in the side of the building to fix the broken pipe, but at least he fixed it. The closet got really wet and the whole wall is soaked - can't wait for the mold to show up :(1 hour 16 minutes til I can leave!! Ghost Hunters tonight!
