  1. Wow, Ally is getting big!

At least they're on the cat tree. I remember when Pipa's Mum got one the kitties refused to go near it for quite a long time. Your's will love the tree, I'm sure, LB! Right now they're just trying to figure out what the heck it is!

  3. Did the kitties eventually go on the cat tree? Ally is getting so big and a little meany too! I can hardly pet or hold her. I hope it is a faze she is going through!

  4. Ally sounds sassy like my Wilma. I think she is going thru that kitty sassy stage! She looks like she could be a little stinker (but OH what a cute, sweet one!)

  5. Stinker! That is the PURRFECT word to describe her!

  7. Well I have a nasty headache and got the spook of my life when I came home from work. I will pulling in the driveway and I saw a smokey grey cat sitting in the tulips. I almost lost my lunch because I thought it was Betty. It saw me and ran behind a bush. I stopped in the driveway and jumped out of my car! Betty hasn't been outside since she was a kitten in the cowbarn almost FOUR years ago! How did she get out?!?!? I walked slowly and gently over to the bush and it was a kitty that looked JUST LIKE BETTY. When I got closer I could tell the cat was FAR BIGGER than Betty but the same type of cat. It is most likely a boy. He ran under my evergreens. I put food out on the porch for him. I am fixing to put out a waterbowl too! Thank God it wasn't Betty

  8. I can imagine the scare. Lucy has gotten out twice, and I was about in tears. Luckily I was able to grab her before she took off. I'm so glad it wasn't Betty!

  9. NICE cat tree, mine would love that, all those different levels! Yours look like they are trying to decide which ones to lay claim too.

  10. Wow that's nice and big! Sadly my Max would never get on it or be on it long! Doesn't look like it can handle Max's runnign jumps and all 14 + probably clsoe to 15 1/2 or 16 pounds now! That's the one thing I look for sturdy and thick hahaah to take his weight heehhe! Glad they like it and are feeling it out!

  11. OMG - Ally is so adorable! But she is getting big. Don't you wish that we could squeeze them to keep them as kittens just a bit longer? Such cute pictures!

  13. Ally is so cute, but she is growing way to fast! I got the tower off ebay at a really good price. They have all kinds, and they don't even compare to what you find at Petsmart.

  16. I agree it's why 2 of the three trees MaxMax has came from petco!

  17. Wow! That is a great cat tree! They will both be able to enjoy it without getting in each other's way. Ally is getting big - and such a cutie!

  18. What an awesome cat tree! Ally sure is getting big and she is sooo cute!

  19. LB, yes, eventually Pipa's Mum's kitties did figure out that the tree was a fun toy for them and they started using it.
My guys are on their's more often than not. They chase eachother up and down it, use the scratching posts and both sleep on it all the time, too.
I loved the different trees tehy have on E-Bay - there are so many to chose from!

  21. I think they are afraid to get on it because they think I'm going to fuss at them. They keep looking at me like "can I?"

  22. Hoorah for cat towers!! That's a really NICE one!!

When I first got mine, my cats didn't like it. I even put my picture of Bob on it to entice them - lol. Now it's where they all go to look outdoors. I leave the blinds open for them and they lounge around and love it.

Its a bit noisy when they all decide to run up and down it though. :)

    Your kitties are gorgeous.

  23. LB, Ally would be to young, but for your older kitty, maybe put some catnip on the tree to entice her. I know a lot of TDKers have done that and had success.

  24. What a great kitty tree! I would love to get one for the boys but I have no idea where I would put it. My townhouse is fairly small and is filled to capacity (almost). I know that the boys would love it. I have a small one in front of the door that goes to the space under the stairs. This is where the dreaded vac is stored. It is easy to move. This would be the space for one but I am afraid that I could not move it to get to the vac. This is my dilemma. I guess I just have too much furniture. I do have the perfect space but it is filled with my parents grandfather clock.
