  1. Had to start part II, none of my posts were showing up at all (how annoying). Finally finished reading all 25 pages of the Nite Shift, everyone was on a roll tonight!

tigerpaw, the horde is just dang ducky, they are terrorizing the pup and making sure that he listens to me and them.

  2. Think that everyone has went in for the night, so pulling out the checksheet to close the room up for the night. Hmmm opens the window just a crack for the fresh air (check), turns on the ceiling fan for good air flow (check), turns on the music for the wandering mind whom may come in (check), turns down the lights so the nightlights kick in (check), pulls the door to almost closed (cuz everyone knows our felines don't like closed doors) (check), and walks down the hall whistling to my console for the next 5 hrs left of work...

  5. And trying not to fall asleep from the boredom at work, hate being bored. Bad thing is that I have numerous radio channels in my ear (thru the headset) and the guys keep talking about nothing much

  6. AZDEB, isn't it just typical of guys talk, talk, talk, about nothing.! :-). I was sitting here waiting to hear from Airy that she had safely reached her BF house, she was walking the short distance at about 10pm and has orders to txt me once she has arrived. She forgot but mum tracked her down on MSN.

  7. MS, lol isn't it funny how the kids 'forget' to call or even txt...oops! As for the guys, my theory is that they aren't allowed to talk at home so they come to work and talk their fool heads off about nothing. The bad thing is that all the radio channels are recorded and they have the option to talk on 'direct' which is not recorded plus I can't hear them. Always tell the guys that it is so easy for me to work here, I get 'paid' to tell them (law enforcement types) where to go, don't really care if they go...kinda like husbands and children, you tell 'em but that doesn't mean they actually hear you

  8. Hear you on that one. Had my eldest girl stop in today she was passing through town on work business and popped in to see dear old mum, must be getting close to Christmas. She led Moonshadow a merry dance around the terrace with a piece of string, they had so much fun. Then Airy lets me know she is going to BF place to polish up a presentation she is making at uni tomorrow at some PhD conference. So I wait and txt and wait and get no answer, knew I should be able to get her on MSN. Anyway I filled in a heap of competition entries while waiting and I go to that freerice.com page to donate rice.

  9. Yep, children are all the same no matter where they are. The freerice.com page is a good one, don't know why more people don't go there. How old is your eldest dau? Mine is 31 and I don't feel old enough to have a child that old, lol.

  10. She is 25, and happily pointed out to me that she was half my age, Airy is 23. I definitely don't feel old enough to have kids that old. KW said I should say I was a child bride, she uses that excuse. Moonshadow has come in from hunting and now it's time we both went to bed seeing as it is midnight here. Sorry to leave you to the inane and possibly asinine chatter of the law enforcement types. Anyway you have only 4 hours left now.

  11. MS, lol their asinine chatter will go away in under 4 hours, then they can talk their little hearts out in someone else's ear. Have a good nite and sleep well. Oh yeah, and my kids do the same to me about the age thing.

  12. I do it to my mum even now, she's in her mid eighties, and not long back from travelling overseas with her 70 year old brother. Those two together are a laugh a minute and trouble. There is hope then for us. Age disgracefully, it looks like fun. Night AZDEBRA. Moonshadow sends headbonks to your crew.
