As you know when we arrived home on Tuesday Ms. Kitty was no where to be found. On Wednesday evening I found her and I think 2 new babies! The babies, only 2 I think, look like siamese. I am so thrilled and excited. I have been thinking that I should add to my family. I went out yesterday to look at them and they were no where to be found. Scared me to death. I should have known better. Ms. Kitty has moved them to a hidden space under the kitchen window. I only peeked and saw a tiny little white paw. They were born on May 6. I will try to get a photo as soon as Ms. Kitty brings them out from her "hidey hole". I can't tell you how excited I am! I did want to get a ragdoll but with so many abandoned kits...well these babies are mine! Just spoke to Abbey and she send big hello's to our UK lunch buddies and wants all to know that her 3, George, Nicky and Nora are smothering here with purrs and love. I think they missed her. She has already put her new frig decorations up. Best wishes and hugs to all for a wonderful Mother's Day. MCW...just to let you know it was 56 degrees in Paris when we left and 90 degrees in Houston when we landed! Be prepared, September is worse!

The vacation was so wonderful! We loved London. We spent days just walking and visiting museums. I feel honored to have seen so many works of art that I have been looking at in print my whole life. The flowers were blooming and lovely. Abbey and I had such a great time with our TDK buddies at lunch. We ate great food, laughed, told stories about our kits and just had a super time. Porter's was a great place to meet. I don't understand why folks are always complaining about the French. We had such a good time in Paris. Our apartment was on such a sweet street about 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood was quiet and filled with interesting cafe's, shops and people. We walked everywhere. Never took the Metro once. I estimate that we walked between 8-10 miles a day! The food was wonderful, the people were so kind. I discovered that if you are polite and try to speak French that they will bend over backwards to help. The next time we go we are taking our families with us. It was a vacation of a lifetime. I loved being with Abbey and making some of her dreams come true. Our trip to Chanel was a memory she will never forget. The only down side was that I missed my boys and that I got sick when I got back. Some kind of bug got me and I still have a fever. Yuk! It is down but still in the 100 degree range. All will be well.

I hope you get better quick! We visited France on the border with Belgium. I don't remember the villages, but I know we loved it. I wouldn't have made it without the translation book, but everyone was friendly and helpful. I am glad you loved it, and I hope you get to take your family soon!
