She is absolutely gorgeous! And I'm sure she will come through her "spa day" just fine! Welcome to TDK!

Thanks everyone! I just dropped her off for her "spa day" (love that!) and the vet went on and on about how tiny she is. (This happens every time she meets anyone for the first time.) The vet pretty much insisted on the pre-anesthesia blood work for her, because she is so small. And actually, at first, the vet didn't believe me about her age, but then she checked her teeth and realized she is, in fact, 5+ months old, she's just very small. She asked if Pixie is a strictly-indoor kitty (which she is) and said, "Yeah, she doesn't look like she'd survive the great outdoors!" LOL. Um, nope! Fortunately, she has no interest in going outside whatsoever. We could leave the door open all day and she'd never venture out. For that reason, I didn't have them microchip her... but I'm kinda wondering if maybe I should down the road, if she starts to be more interested in going outside?

"Spa" just called and Pixie did great! Her bloodwork was all nice and normal, too. No explanation for her tiny size, but regardless, she's doing great! Yay!

Our Pickle is very small for her age too, just 3.8kgs (too late in the day to do the conversion!) - ref the microchipping, I would just in case she ever gets out, or maybe even escapes when you have her in transit anywhere - it's worth it for the peace of mind.

She's a beauty--glad she did well today. I am a believer in microchipping. My 3 are indoors only and I had them done--you never know who is going to have the door open too long! She's a very light color--not a seal nor a chocolate point from what I see. The pictures are gorgeous!

Poor Pixie - we lied to you about going to the spa! I'll bet that you didn't even get a pedicure on those tiny toes!
