Rushes into cafe and sees the kitties have OVERSLEPT! Wakes up the kits and gets the buffet up and loaded. Its a cool day here but not too cool as to not be able to open the windows a bit. Tables set, kitties ready to serve, Monday ready to go! Hope all are well around the globe. I have a busy day today, have to take my car into the Toyota dealer AGAIN as the check engine light came back on! AARGH! Have a good day everyone! Bye for now!

Silly kitties, must have played too hard yesterday. Hang in there, MC {{{MC}}}. Maybe a busy day is a good thing, it will make the time go.
I did something today I *never* do; I called in sick to work, because my head is killing me. I took a Vicodin in the middle of the night and it did nothing, zippo, nada. I think my head's bad because there's something in the air that's been making me sneeze and my nose run like a faucet. My head was already hurting before that, and I think the combination put it over the top. I usually go to work even if I hurt, I take the pills only if I'm about ready to pound my head against a wall, but today I just gave in and said "I can't do this today". Of course, that means I get to stay home and listen to our contractor cutting tiles in our bathroom :P Thank goodness this project is almost finished.

Oh, Kilroy, and you can't even have a quiet sleep at home with that contractor there. I hope your poor head improves or that the contractor finishes early. I am so sorry to hear that. I hope George can comfort his mama and that he's good for you today.

Goodmorning MC and Kilroy. Just popping in to say Hi & bye. It's cold here and late so I'm heading off to my lovely soft bed and a good book. We had a big day in my city, picture link on page 2 of the Mother's Day night shift. Have a great day and I hope they find the fault with the engine light MC. Kilroy, sounds like Spring has brought pollen along with the wonderful reawakening plants, I hope your headache improves.

Good morning! Sounds like everyone is off and running or going to bed and take it easy. I'm just catching up on things at work today. My cats sure didn't want me to leave this morning. Both of them were trying to get by the same spot at my side to have me pet them. It's things like this that make it hard to go to work.

I curled up yesterday morning with a book and was thinking about finishing the chapter and getting up to do something, but Leela came up and curled up with me. Mi is very good about it - Bobby is not!
We were outside from 6:45pm to 8:00pm yesterday. He met with Mr. T the neighbor kitty, got catnip from T's mommy to roll in, chased bugs, rolled in dirt, stalked the birds etc. I had hoped that would wear him out, but no! I had to put him in the bathroom shortly after midnight because he was fighting with Mi, then let him out a couple of hours later. 4:30 he had to go back in the bathroom again for being whiny. NOW he's sleeping!!! Arrrgh! -

This is still the year of the 'firsts' with my Mom. It's not been quite a year yet that she has been gone. I actually spent the day with XBF. My kids called, which was really nice; no offers for lunch or dinner though.. Haha ! -

Kind of quiet today, huh? Of course I'm here looking for that worthless Hazel. It's surprisingly cool here today, like around 60. And maybe a chance of rain.
GD, you will be so proud of me. I rode my bike in a 17 mile ride yesterday to honor Texas lawmen who have been killed in the line of duty. It wasn't a race, just a ride. But I'm not a bike rider and there were times that I found myself thinking, "Could we please go faster?". So I can imagine that to the hardcore riders it must have been painfully slow. As it was, the string of about 40 riders had huge gaps in it and some people were kind of late getting back. We had a police and sheriff's escort and they blocked traffic at every intersection so we never had to stop. Cars stopped for us! I could get used to that. I felt a little uncomfortable at first because I ride a hybrid and of course most of them ride road bikes. But once I saw that I was in the leading group and not even breathing hard, I figured that I was okay on my "girly bike".
