    Well, it did get kind of hot because for some reason the ride didn't start until 2:00 pm. The forecast had said a high of 86 but when we went by a sign with the temp it was 95. And of course, we were on the streets so it was hot. Thank goodness I remembered sunscreen but I left my lip balm at home :-(

    *sigh* I guess that I had better go and clean the kitchen. Mr. WWM did all of the vacuuming and dusting for me today. He's really lots better at that than I am - he actually moves stuff! But no one can come close to my skills with a toilet brush!! Thank goodness for all of the college that I have or I might not be qualified to scrub those toilets.

    Good job WWM!! I can't imagine riding in that kind of heat.

    On the subject of husbands and cleaning, can I just say how much I love Mr. K? He just dusted our bedroom, which is inches thick in dust from the renovation, and I was going to point out that it was pointless, since they're still working, but then I realized he did it because he's sure the dust is contributing to my runny nose/sneezing/headache from ****

    I love my hubby :)

    WWM - that is quite toasty !!! I was out at my Dad's pulling weeds this Saturday. I came home fried and frickaseed ! It was 100 out there. No shade.

    Happy Monday! Today is very stressful. It is my last full week of school before it's time for finals so I am stressing to get all of my papers done and all of my teachers are doing last minute cramming. I miss TDK; I feel like I haven't been able to get on enough lately :( I miss hearing from you all

    Gini, we have missed you! I have a good friend here who will graduate from nursing school this Friday. She is saying the same thing that you are - that she's stressed to the max and why are the professors "still trying to kill us". Hang in there!

    .... I'll take a martini too!(or two).... cleaning.... it's becoming my middle name!.... dusted, mopped, swished, etc. in NC all last week, now home, and HAZEL never showed up, so I've got to do it here!..... at least Mr. AV and Daughter managed to do SOME things, like keep the pets clean (yes they had to babysit the skunk while we were gone, and the pooping ferret).... I HATE coming home from somewhere, seems like there was a dust convention at my house.....

    Thanks WWM! I think the worst part is finals end May 26th, and then I'm taking summer session which starts on June 1st. That means I only have a 5 day break :( It's better than nothing, but still...boooo.

    Hi all! Waves to anyone left in the cafe! Hope everyone had a good day! My day was actually decent. I took my car to the Toyota dealer for that darn "check engine" light coming back on AGAIN! They had my car on every machine known to man to check it out. Finally they were finished and the guy tells me, "are you ready for this? your car is absolutely FINE! it is pristine and very well taken care of! the problem is your computer is completely, totally shot!" I panicked thinking how much that was gonna cost me and I don't need that with surgery coming up. He tells me that the computer is one thing that is warrantied for the entire life of the car! GOD BLESS TOYOTA! I will owe nothing! He did say it would be in Friday and I told him about my surgery so they are going to make a note NOT to send the computer back when it comes in and I will call to set up the appointment!

    Gini, good luck with finals! I remember what a crazy time that was! I didn't take test stress very well!

    Waving hello as I enter the cafe....hi all it has been a day this morning was a little bit of ack.....you see Gallo goes with me to drop the kids off at school, we everythng started out great, then Gallo started to pooping in the car...all over loose poo....the boy gets out of car and starts laughing and tell us to have a good day! then as I have him in my lap, poo all over than starts to pee on me...it only takes 5min to take the kids...so in a matter of 3 mins I was the personal litter box for gallo....when we got home Gallo got a bath and rocked to sleep...than I took a shower and put clothes in the wash....yes now I can laugh about it!

    He is doing okay...it was the 1st time that he has ever had runny poo....I am watching him close! He is playing more and eating more and seems okay...he is now sleeping on me at the computer.... I called vet and they said just to watch but if anything changes to call...vet told me to call at his home it we need him and will meet us at the vet er if anything should happen.... I love my vet!

    Yay! He's good at that!!! :)

    We went outside for over an hour yesterday and for a while on Saturday, too. Milo is getting much braver and now ventures out up to 10 feet from the door and sniffs around. He still gets scared every few minutes and runs back inside. Bobby saw Mr. T's mom and ran straight over there for catnip - he's embarassing his old mom!

    I HAVE to tell you all what Son got me for Mother's day!...... THE PINK CAT STROLLER!!!!!....... I am so excited, I think Abby will love strolling with me walking on the Bayshore, she is soooooo good in her carrier for trips, I actually think she'll enjoy it!..... I'm gonna try it this weekend, and I'll try to post some pics!...... who knew?!!.... a cat stroller.....

    ...best story is, they retail for about $170... well Son, saw one on E bay for $25, and bid $30 at the last minute and won the bid!.... (I'm always so impressed with his "savy" in things like that!)

    Abby has a PINK stroller? Oh Betty and Wilma are SO JEALOUS! I have wanted to get them a stroller for over a year now. I knew it would be a waste of money cause they are such fraidy cats! Your son is the best! Please take pix of Abby in her new stroller! Can't wait to see em!
