Ooooh, I have to have one!!! It's quite affordable, too!
When Mi was little he used to pull the earrings out of my ears. I'm sure it would hurt even more to have an eye brow ring pulled out. I like the idea of a little bell, too!

I Have an Annoying - totally non cat-related - Problem.

Talking of toys for the boys, you could always attach a string to the piercing and a catnip mouse to the end of the string........

GD, those involuntary twitchy things are very annoying indeed. Most self resolve in 2-3 days and require no treatmnet. You are correct that stress and fatigue can be a cause. Caffeine also can be the culprit, but you are now caffeine-free. Try to get a good nights rest and hopefully that will help.
If you have allergies, a nighttime tablet of benadryl may also do the trick.Posted 3 years ago by Tigerlilly #

Thanks!
PM, I'm severely tempted to try the string and catnip mouse idea!
TL, I've slept badly for almost a week. Bobby just isn't behaving and then last night the weather was horrible and woke me up. I'm thinking it's a combination of the fatigue and stress.
I'm dogsitting from tomorrow to Friday. Just one night, but I plan on sleeping over at the dog's house and try to get a good night's sleep. -
I hope no one thinks I'm evil for offering this suggestion to calm Bobby down in the evening, but here goes: Atticus and Sammy go cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs lots of nights...they body slam each other and chase each other on and off the bed and don't notice (or care) who they are jumping on. So...my secret weapon? Petromalt. Or whatever hairball remover you use. Take a glob of it and dot it all over Bobby's body. It never, ever fails. He will clean himself for a long time, and after a long bath, they usually take a long nap. Plus, you gave them their hairball treatment at the same time! (Yeah, it's pretty funny, but when you get some sleep and your eyelid and eyebrow stop twitching, you will always have your hairball remover on your nightstand...haha!)

I had an eye tic that used to burst into life whenever I was due to see my mother (STOP laughing MS! Maybe it was about you really!). Pure stress related. I hope you can Bobby calmed down. Tell him he can't come to lunch next week when Jcat and I meet for the first time if he doesn't let you get some sleep!

Oh - the eye twitch - This IS so annoying! I has one that went on - literally - for months! I was wworking really, really hard so I know it was stress related. I too eventually went to the doctor. Always in the past the twitch had lasted no more than a few days - but months? He did say it was just stress and to not worry about it!. I agree that the eyebrow twitch must be an escalation. I agree - now that you are treating your ulcer, the stress needed to find somewhere else to cause a problem! LOL - my body finds all sorts of ways to react to stress, and as soon as I find some solution for one stress symptom, the stress finds some other place to start being a pain!

LOL - love the ideas for eyebrow rings! You could rotate between the glow-in-the dark, the bell and string with catnip mouse! The boys would really love that, they would never know what treat was in store for them next!!!! :-D
