    Target has key lime cookies that are easy to eat, little bit crunchy but not so much that she would have a hard time eating them. So glad that the surgery was shorter and now she can start the really hard work.

    Great idea about having someone designated to call once a day to check on her. If someone is organizing this, I would love to be on the list. I can easily call from work and let everyone know.
    In the meantime, a shower of cards will certainly perk her up and let her know how much we are thinking about her.

    im glad she's doing well! my mum was born with a brain tumor, and was operated on about 20 some years ago. she's still around...and i wish nothing but the best and the same for amy!

    I sent her a card to the hospital which I mailed Monday in the hopes that she would get it by tomorrow. I followed the advice of one of you here who recommended the return address be that of MC, in case the card gets to the hospital after she has been discharged. Maybe those of you mailing a card to the hospital now could do that also, as I am hoping that all this positive TDK white light and prayers will get MC discharged in record time :)

    CBM recommended that TL...it is a great idea. If I remember correctly, MC said they are expecting her discharged in 2 days...but insurance gave the okay for 7 days...
