  1. Oh, she won't be discharged in two days, Linda! CM meant that maybe she could start receiving calls in two days. But we must wait on the calls until we know that she has been transferred from ICU to a regular room. My understanding is that the room that she's in now is a neuro ICU room. Is that right?

  2. Oh, I just went back and reread the last few posts. MC told me that they expected her to be in an ICU unit for two days and then transferred to a surgical unit for approximately four more days. I believe that she was anticipating a stay of a week total. And of course, it will all depend on how she does.

  3. And I would like to be on the call list, please.

  4. Yes, cm said she is in the Neuro Trauma Unit. I'll send a card tomorrow.
Thanks, WWM! I was getting pretty cheesed off!

  10. Yes, I like the idea of a call list!! I know MC said she'd be in the hospital about a week.

  15. I worry that she really thinks she might be out in 2 days. She said that in her hospital email that she would be there at least 2 days but insurance covered 7. I sure hope they do not release her that quick.

  17. Hooray! Just got back from the doctor and found this! Happy Dancing that she is out of surgery and doing well! I'd love some champagne, but can't because of all my pain meds :-( Got any Ginger Ale?

Posted 2 years ago by rainingwolf #

  18. Me, too, RW. If you get some ginger ale, please pass some my way.

Posted 2 years ago by Leeny #

  19. Found some! Here you go, Leeny--ginger ale in champagne flutes--with ice! Cheers!

  22. I am so glad that MC made it through surgery well and is doing ok. I was praying all day. I raise my glass for her speedy recovery and send the angels who are watching over her, special powers. She has her angels and they are hovering over her as we watch.

MC if you see this, know that I am thinking of you and praying for your total recovery. I know you will be feeling beter soon. Love, Mama Lynn

  23. hi folks
haven't been on in ages. but i've been in lurk mode many times. have a full plate with issues with my house and related stuff, just trying to keep myself calm and collected.

but i was very concerned about mc having the brain surgery today, that's an awesome type of surgery. i keep thinking of her all day and watching the clock trying to imagine if the surgery was completed or not.

you guys are the very best of caring, loving friends. God Bless you all. And thank God for seeing mc through her surgery safely and for the expertise of her doctors, nurses and all the other care givers attending to her.

i know if i ever had any health crisis, i would want all of you in my corner so to speak. i just had to come out of lurk mode to let you all know how i feel about each of you. bobby
