  1. I'm so happy to hear the great news about MC's surgery! Many prayers and lots of white light for her swift and complete recovery.

Hi, Bobby! Great to see you posting. I'll add my prayers and white light that your test results are good.

  2. Oh, I'm so glad she is out and doing well!

  3. thanks so much kw.

about five years ago i suffered with angina pain and didn't know what it was.
i just did a lot of cabbing around in the city instead of my usual walking. on my next three month checkup i just casually mentioned it to my doctor who is a cardiologist. his eyes popped open and immediately he had me in for a stress test which was followed by an angioplasty procedure. i've been fine ever since, but he has me do the thalium stress test every year.

  4. ((Bobby)) glad to see you. I was just thinking about you the other day. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as well.

  5. I'm glad your doctor is being proactive about your health, Bobby. That must give you great peace of mind. :)

  6. thanks cm - and good luck with the fencing. make sure the workers do it the way you and your hubby want, no shortcuts. i've gotten burned a number of times on various projects i paid to have done (mainly because i am not at all handy with tools and such)

kw - he is a superb doctor, and equally important to me, a very kind man.
also, congratulations on your new addition. how is it working out with all three. i know in my case, it took more than a year for one of my persians to be comfortable around miss snowy. her sister adapted to miss snowy within a few weeks, but bebe, didn't want anything to do with her. all of a sudden it was over, not that they are best friends, but she tolerates snowy being nearby and there is no hissing and swatting at each other. the world of cats!

  7. I'm glad to hear that Snowy is now accepted by the rest of your crew. (I hope she hasn't tried to go on any more "walk abouts!") Boots is fitting in very well. We've had her about a month and all three are getting along. We put some catnip on the base of the scratching post last night. All three girls were trying to roll in it and act silly. Pretty funny to see. :)

  8. oh terrific news. my two persians were together close to four years before miss snowy came to live with us. they are very mellow and affectionate. miss snowy is a bit tougher, poor thing was a street cat for most of her life before she came to live with us, so maybe she was giving off some 'tough' vibes that scared bebe. anyway, it all seems to have settled down, that's what matters most.

  9. and so far no more 'walk abouts' but i've caught her looking at the basement backyard door a number of times. so who knows what is going on in that little cat brain, which i would never under estimate for a minute.

  10. It is nice when there is peace in the animal kingdom, isn't it? :)

  11. absolutely true. i still have issues with patrick, my youngest poodle trying to be the boss over the other dogs. the imp. i scold him but he is so determined to get his way, that he doesn't pay the slightest attention to me. but if i raise my voice, then he becomes all kissy kissy with me, because he doesn't want me to be mad at him. lukie, my oldest male poodle, puts up with an awful lot from patrick at times, but he is such a gentleman, patrick has to push all his buttons before lukie will put him in his place. no one ever gets hurt, i wouldn't allow that to happen, but there is a bit of noise and a lot of posturing. it's really fascinating to see the dynamics of a dog pack, and with seven dogs, i certainly have a pack!

  12. You must have impressive bills for pet food, Bobby!

Posted 10 months ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  13. believe me, i do. but i try and feed them the best diet i can afford. not too many treats, they are mostly fattening anyway. they know they are loved very much, and we all do a lot of cuddling so i don't think they miss the frills.

  14. kw and all my dear friends. i am going to say good night, i had a long day. i think i must have run 1/2 a marathon on that treadmill this morning. i am going to read a bit and that will tire my eyes and then off to dreamland for me. good night everyone, will be on again soon. bobby

  17. CM - Could you please send me Amy's home address? I'd love to send some cards. I would send something to the hospital, but with any luck, she will be out of the hospital before my card has a chance to get there! ;-) I'm afraid I can't volunteer for the call rota - stuff really seems to be hitting the fan here, just now, and I just know I couldn't commit.

I'm so glad that Amy came through the surgery so well. I can't wait to hear the latest news on how she is doing!

  27. will do right now :)

Posted 10 months ago by cricketsmama #

  28. Anxiously awaiting any new update. Dear MC has alot to go through with this recovery but this gal has the kind of spunk you don't see too often. *except for all the wonders here on TDK* Missing her posts so much and sending prayers for a full and uncomplicated recovery. =)

If you see this Bobby....You sound wonderful and we've really missed you so much! Hope your tests come back good. Hug all those pooches and kitties for me! =)
