Just starting the NS, no particular theme this evening. Just good friends, with prayers and thoughts for MC's recovery, a safe trip for DM and that things start to look up for her. So have a pleasant evening and scritches to all the furry ones and hugs to your families.
I know I haven't been on much lately, I will be back in a short time just digesting and coming to terms with some things.

Bacon, I smell bacon. Hummm, must have drifted over from Huddy's Mama's Birthday thread.
Have just been out on the porch rubbernecking. They're shooting part of a movie in and around the apartment building next door ... with no end of inconvenience to the neighborhood as the production trucks have taken up every parking space for three blocks in either direction. Ah, Hollywood. But it is kind of fun to watch the goings on.
How's everyone doing this Friday? Or is that Fryday (more bacon themes).

Hi, all. Slow night tonight! Hubby and I went to dinner with friends and then to the University of Oregon campus to watch "On the Rocks," an all male a capella singing group. Oh, did they rock!! Very fun evening. :)
I hope those who need rest and peace find it. You are in my prayers that answers will come. More prayers for MC as she recovers from her surgery.

Hi late! (for me)... just checking in before heading to bed! ... woke up in my comfy chair, but need to head to bed!... 2am here!.... looks like NS is "scarce" tonite! ... "Hi to Deb, GA and KW!....you guys probably read earlier that "Odie" came home... so glad, Son is coming Sunday to take him back to UF....
.... I must report that Cuddles is a "new woman" ever since we discovered that she likes "baby" meat sticks... she now actually comes down every afternoon around 3 or 4 and "asks" (meows) politely for one!..... so far, has not puked any up, so I'm thinking it's easy on her sensitive tummy!....

Just woke up from sleeping in front of the TV, good grief, I'm becoming my Mother. No-one on NS so I'm heading off to bed.
It's 11.20pm NZ time, ...the night is chilly in NZ and cool to warm in USA with Old Man Winter on the out..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV, & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box
check - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there!
All our thoughts and prayers are with Mollycat(Amy) tonight and the rest of this week as she recovers from surgery.
