Wow, that was a surprise MC to read that you are home already. Great. Just make sure you rest lots and that the girls see to your every need and want. I'm glad you have kept most of your hair, but you'll still look cute in DM's hats.

Today, Sunday, is not such a good day. For some reason there was not a nurse coming in every two hours with pain med and to remind me to roll, etc! Today I hurt BAD! Today I had some break thru pain that I am just getting back under contol. Won't be on much,, will be trying to sleep and get pain back to 'managable'. Thanks for all your love and support!

I tried calling your cell, MC. Left a voice mail for you. I was really kind of worried that you came home so quickly because I think the pain is sometimes better controlled in the hospital. I am sorry about the breakthrough pain.

{{{MC}}} Just keep up with the pain medicine - in my experience the time frame that a dose is supposed to last is longer than the time it actually lasts so just keep an eye on the clock, and don't suffer because you think you should be stronger than the pain - pain will win and you will suffer needlessly. You just need to listen to your body and it will tell you the truth.

Good morning MC. I'm sure you know this, but please take your pain meds round the clock for now. Catching up to pain is far more difficult than keeping up with it. You will know when it's time to start weaning.....If your pain is still awful in the am, please consult with your doc.

3:55 pm and tried MC's cell phone again but got her recorded message. I hope that she's sleeping but I'm also worried about what she is doing as far as eating. She certainly wouldn't feel up to cooking and I'm worried that she might be feeling too badly to even get up and just heat something. I left a message.

That is what I did yesterday WWM. At least yesterday her sister was there. I sure would feel more comfortable if you heard her voice. Maybe she was able to get some sleep. I hope that she is eating and drinking too. Did you find out if she was able to get any home health care?

No, I didn't, SM. That was one thing that I really wanted to talk to her about. But I've only been able to leave voice messages :-( She may not even have her phone turned on.

oh WWM, I dropped the phone when you called and it broke into 762 pieces. I think I found only 761 of those pieces. No worries, my fridge is packed full of food from my co workers who snuck in here while I was in the hospital. Some of them require no prep at all, thank goodness for these early days. Not haiving a nurse here in the beginning is tough! PHEW! but What I am sad about is that I have NOT see the girls yet, not even once! Makes tears stream down my face. Oh well. Speaking of faces, gonna go wash mine, crawl in bed and if I fall asleep, that is what my body wanted . Thanks again for all your support, I am sure as the week goes on I will be able to sit up longer but right not I am not gonna push it. Gonna piece my phone together tomorrow too, sorry, WWM! g'nite all! waves to all in TDK land!

MC, I really wish that you would call your doctor tomorrow and ask for at least a week of home health care. I just don't think that you should be there by yourself.
