   Hey everyone,

   Pumpkin & Nilla are doing fantastic! Ever since I got back from the spa with Nilla, I have let her and Pumpkin out with each other, and now they appear to finally be playing with each other! Last night was a real improvement of sorts, Nilla & Pumpkin actually lied down together. But then of course Pumpkin realized after 10 minutes what was actually happening & hissed at her and left the chair. So things are going better than expected but...

   I still have a problem with Nilla.

   She knows how to use a litter box, but keeps pooping in the corner, as if that is her preferred spot. We thought it was because she had trouble getting into the box, so the boy made some steps out of books to assist her. Well, that hasn't worked either. I'm not sure what to do and really want her to use the box regularly. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be much appreciated!

   AL, I'm sure no expert on this. But we had a meezer once who did that and it was a behavioral problem, not a problem with the litter box. He did it when he was stressed. And considering that he was an extremely weird cat, he was stressed most of the time.

   Maybe the corner feels safe to her. And, it's hard to get the scent completely out, so it probably smells right to her too. What happens if you put tin foil over the spot.

   If you put a litter box there and she starts using it, then you can move it a few feet closer every day to the area where you really want her to be
