  2. Thanks, GD! I have sent it to Buttercup, as she is the caller for today. Don't want to overload MC on phone calls. But if we don't hear from Buttercup within an hour or so, I will call.

  3. Please keep me advised, as I'm on the list to call tomorrow. You've got my email address. thanks.... also, what time do you guys suggest calling?... I was thinking maybe mid morning around 11?

  4. AV, at this point I really have no idea what time is good. While MC was in the hospital and living on "hospital time", I could pretty well guess. But now I'm not sure. I would hope that around 11:00 she would be stirring and getting some liquids and some food. Yesterday I worried about when to call because I didn't want to wake her up.

  5. Bad, bad news about the phone number, y'all. Buttercup just tried and that number has been disconnected.

  6. Does anyone know where her mother/sister live and if they have the same last name to check on a phone #?

  7. I have wondered that, too, TL. I think that her mom lives in a whole other town, and it might have been another state. Her sister can't be that far away but I have no idea what her name is!

Lesson learned here - we needed to get more facts on contacts!!!! :-(

  8. Only 9 people listed in Illinois with that lsat name, if we could just find out their first name

  9. I'm getting pretty worried here.

  10. Maybe the police should be called? But what if she's just resting and hasn't been on her computer and the police scare the stuffing out of her?

  11. How frustrating, I just called all the 9 #s listed, no answer or disconnected for all!!

  12. Does anyone know where she worked?

Posted 2 years ago by Tigerlilly #

  13. Could we get in touch with CricketsMama? She had the original communication with a co-worker. I'd rather send a co-worker over than the police.

  15. Oh, dear......

If we only knew her doctor's name, we could contact his office. Of course, as Buttercup said, they probably wouldn't be able to tell us anything due to confidentiality.

  16. I don't know where MC works :-(

  17. I have to step out to get my boys very soon. How about calling the hospital and cheking with the nursing station where she was cared for, Maybe they can contact her docs office, hopefully they have better contact info?

Posted 2 years ago by Tigerlilly #

  18. Of course we would not be asking the hospital to give US any info, but for them to try to reach her.

  19. I think CM will weigh in soon, with the friend's either number, or email address. We could also call the hospital and explain to them that we are trying to reach a patient that was discharged, but that no one can get in touch with. The hospital should have some type of check-in system for post op patients, particularly brain surgery where they know she was going home alone!

  20. I wonder where in the hospital we would call?

Posted 2 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  21. Ladies, I have to run off, late to pick up the boys.
If someone can contact the hospital and reach the post op neurosurg nursing station that might be the best bet. I would just say that you are a friend , cannot reach her by cell and are worried, can they help . I think I may leave out the online chat part Lol

  22. I have to run out for about 20 minutes or so. TL, I wonder that they might be more willing to talk to you, as a physician?
