Thanks GD.... he has been SO good lately. Used to be we wouldn't talk or see each other during the week at all... only on the weekends. Now I see him on Monday (hike night) and Wednesda (racquetball) and often Thursday (dancing after hula)...plus the dancing and racquet ball on the weekends. He is currently working out of town and has called Sunday, Monday and again today. I should have spoken up long ago LOL

2P, sorry about the rain spit, wind is not good especially when its hot and muggy. I love the beach too, walking on it and thru the surf is so relaxing.
M2MC, no looking for chow myself, its too hot to cook and really not too hungry for heavy food.

I'm still stuffed from lunch. We were at the restaurant from 12:15 to 2:15 and I can't even think of eating yet. I've been eating small amounts every 3 hours or so the last few months, to boost my metabolism, but there's no way I can eat anything yet.

A bit cooler, its working up to 100 so far, think it was 98 a few mins ago. The heat wouldn't be so bad without the mugginess, but remember its a DRY heat....ok so we won't look at the 98% humidity levels, lol.

.... shares her box of "mall" food with M2MC..... everyone is GONE tonite, so I went to the mall this afternoon and brought back a box of my favorite "chineese takeout"...... Hubbs went up to UF to help Son move today and tomorrow, Daughter is out with friends at her "senior banquet"..... guess that just leaves me and Abbs (sighs guiltily, LOVING the time alone)!!!.....

oh no MS!..... not really familiar with those being in Fla. but about 20 yrs ago, Hubbs was in one while doing a job in Calif. said he look out his hotel window and the telephone poles looked like they were jumping up and down! SCARY!..... Praying that Airy will be safe!....

I may have done something dumb today! I agreed to dog-sit for EBL!!!! Arrrrgh! It's not til October and it's only for four days, but she lives 45 minutes away! Arrrrgh, again! She's paying me $75.00 per day, though, so I couldn't refuse! More arrrrgh!

We have plenty of them here in NZ AV. Airy said she heard this one coming so was ready for it. 4.1 magnitude. Don't think it stopped the hummers feeding though.

Cool thanks all! What I really would like is a whole wheat wrap filled with a little ranch ,fresh lettuce leaves, roasted oven turkey breat, thick smokey peppered bacon extra crispy, thick slices of cheddar with a little bit of honey mustard dressing all rolled up with some fresh fruit on the side!
Witht he heat here tonigfhts dinner, is salad boooooo! Too hungry for salad!

MS, when I get to NC over the weekend, I will post pics of my hummers feeding... they are so CUTE!...... Abby will sit for hours and watch them out the big picture window!
... M2MC - I "get" the heat!.... I like a nice cool avacado w/vinegar when it's so hot... really satisfies, and is very filling... not to mention good for you!

AV, Airy has taken a video of them for me, hopefully she can get some great still shots for me to frame. I have two great pictures daughter Meegz took of lightning when she was in Lewes, DE. She took 2 consecutive shots from a video she took.
