   the italian place lisa, ginny and I went to the last time was great! and there are lots of other great places to get together in austin

    I want to introduce MCW to the joy of Tex-Mex at a home-grown Austin place called Maudie's. Mexican food and margaritas sound good? The Slaughter Lane location is good at handling large parties and is super easy to find from highway 35.

    Ooops. Gotta go smack a raccoon. It's on my porch. Again.

    I hope lots and lots of TDK littermates decide to come to Austin and play with us!!! Misty and CJ would love to meet all their aunties and uncles. I can't wait for this meet up! I was thinking about it last week on the way to work and--please don't laugh--I started getting weepy in the car imagining all of us sitting at a big long table full of food and love.

    I am so excited! I live in the north part.....but my mom in law lives south....I think that I can have a DD to take me to and from....hee hee... Gallo will be a bigger boy, JW will be close to 1 1/2, and Julia will be 2 and Laken turns 12 in Sept.....

    Opahall, I live on the north end, and Gatakitty, who I hope will be joining us, lives even "norther." If transportation is a challenge, we'll find a way! If you're here in Austin, we should exchange numbers. Why don't you email me at my work email...lisamc-lpc at sbcglobal dot net. In fact, anyone in Central Texas who sees this should drop me a line. I want to make sure we all get together as often as we can, and check on each other if we need to. I think there are more littermates in the Austin area than I realized.

    This is so much fun! I hope that we have a whole bunch of folks! Abbey lives in south Austin and I'm in College Station but we will be there! Can hardly wait to put faces with the names. We had such a great time at the meet up in London that I know this one will be just as good. I do hope that WWM can make it...Midland is a long way. All we have to do now is make it through the Texas summer. Ugh!

    I'm planning on it! I have kept my doctor in Houston but haven't been for two year *blush*. So I'm going to try to work it so that we could come to Austin and then go on to Houston for dr visit.

    I know, I know..... but the economy was so awful last year that we gave up all travel. I really need to find a doctor here but none of the good ones are accepting new patients. And the ones that are - well, there's a reason!

    And I will be coming to Austin too! I just can't wait...getting the tickets, lined up the babysitter(s) for the dark angels in my life, and my boss has reconciled himself to being without me for a few days.

    I get weepy too, when I think of all of us at one big table. This will be so lovely!
