Hola! ok, here's the deal...I'm only organizing the SD part of this shindig! I haven't lived in the OC for many moons, so I need some help. Anyone? anyone? Class? anyone? (bonus points for movie reference) :P
I need help with finding a restaurant that can accomodate...? How many? This will be for Sunday Sept 13. Somewhere pretty central to accomodate the Inland Empire peeps who might come and the LA peeps. MCW and I will be coming by Amtrak, so we will need to be picked up at...Irvine station? or Santa Ana? or Fullerton? Whichever is closest to the meet or someone with a car!

Although I haven't lived in So CA for five years, I'd like to suggest a restaurant for the meet up ~ McCormick and Shmick's Seafood Restaurant in Irvine; it's close to the airport & the airport hotels, the food was good (five years ago), reasonably priced, decent service, etc. etc. They also have some banquet areas that could be reserved for the group;
Airy, maybe you could check it out and see if they would reserve a space for the group???? BTW, you and your husband might enjoy having dinner there, just for a QC check before the meetup ;-)

Ok, we will be meeting at the California Pizza Kitchen in the Irvine Spectrum shopping center Sunday Sept 13th, ~ noon. They don't take reservations but said it shouldn't be more than a 10 min wait (!). We are coming up by train and get in to Irvine Amtrak station ~ 11:10 am.
Who can make it? :)

Just checking in after sleeping in, a leisurely breakfast from the new Panera in my area and vacuming to my cat's dismay (really needed it as I emptied the vacume canister twice and had enough cat fur to make a set of socks and that lazy Hazel was no where to be found).
I understand if necessary we may need to rent a car. KW, 2P and myself will be getting in around the 1pm time frame on Saturday.
I am so excited about this trip next month!!
