Hi all - in about 2 hours I'm meeting Jcat for lunch. She's coming by train from where she lives - about a 2 hour trip I think. The weather is absolutely miserable here today - cold and raining. I have my photo of Bob ready to help identify myself at the pub where we meet. I also have the camera so I will ensure photos are taken and will send them to KW to post.

Hi - I'm back from lunch (shh don't tell my boss I was out for 2 hours!) Jcat is marvellous! We got on fabulously and wanted to go shopping together afterwards. And Bob behaved. I will send the photos to KW tonight.
She was wearing what she told me she would be so I was able to recognise her as she stood gazing around the pub looking for me. I waved Bob's photo at her when I caught her eye and when she didn't run off hurriedly thinking I was a maniac I knew I had the right person.

Tee hee, I've just got home, and a miserable cold winter's night it is too...
We had a blast. I didn't want to let KK go at the end of the lunch, I thought we could have had a marvellous time trolling through the bookshops together and everything else at that end of town but, sadly, work got in the way :( How dare it, lol, don't they know that tdk meetups are much more important?
I thoroughly enjoyed myself -- though I hope I didn't chatter or interrupt too much, KK, that's a bad habit of mine and one I only realise I've done afterwards... I am now looking forward to meeting Mr KK and miniKK and of course Dara and Ringo (who is soooooo cute and loves to landscape KK's garden and home...) And, when the weather's better, KK has promised to come up here to the 'Rapa.
Bobby behaved impeccably, GD, although there was a minute when I could have sworn he was eyeing up my fish and chips a bit too closely... I am sad to say that KK and I were quite well behaved too but it really was too cold to misbehave and the tables were too high to dance on...

Jcat not only do we have a lot in common but we also claim the same bad habits! Glad you and your bag contents got home safely. My boss didnt notice how long i was gone but my office mate was wondering if i had been kidnapped by a stranger. Just sitting waiting for a pizza. Cant wait to meet again.

Aha! I know exactly what you mean. I was so sure when I was younger that I must look like Anne of Green Gables, it didn't matter what she looked like it was just way more betterer(yup I said that) than I did. Not sure who I look like now but I'll think about that overnight.
