   I have been lurking off and on here for a while and a TDK follower for years. I started posting for the first time this week so I thought I should introduce myself.

   I currently have just 1 cat (seen in my Avatar) but I am starting the process to foster/adopt a companion for her. I have lived with cats most of my life. For most of the past 15 years my house was home to 4 cats. (Maximum of 4 cats at one time total of 7 different cats.) I have been adjusting to a sudden drop in fur density over the past several months.

   This seems like a really good group of people! I have been touched by the amount of caring about people that you have never "met". (DM & MC come to mind) I hope to keep following along and I hope I can be helpful at times as well.

   Hi, Ekelly! I did see some of your threads today and am so glad that you have exited the "lurk mode"! That is such an adorable kitty squint on your avatar. My SIL lives in Northern Virginia. Beautiful country!

    I have changed my nickname to fit the TDK theme. And I have started on Catster! Now my avatar links to Truffle's page on Catster.

    I am currently doing alot of TDK reading and working to see if Jacob is going to fit in to the family or not. I may have chosen a cat that is too young - he seems to want alot of attention and I just don't have much time to give him.

    Welcome TrufflesMom (TM). We aquired Oliver after we adopted Sammy from the humane society and eventually in a few weeks they started playing with each other are great company for each other. Maybe just a little patience. Olive would whine for attention too and gradually it got less and less. I haven't seen your catster pages so I don't know how old Jacob is. Nice to meet you TM.

    Welcome, welcome, welcome to the furriest place on the net! We are quiet a wonderful diverse group here! I blush from your compliment! It is so good to come out of lurk mode! I did that for a while too, but then just dove right in! I am owned by three furbabies, Molly (14, a Maine Coon who lives now with my mom in Indiana, Betty and Wilma, sisters both 3, who are good old fashioned barnyard "mutts"). Currently Betty is my avatar and you can click on her for a look at their Catster page. As soon as you are able to get one up, my girls would love to be "furr-reinds" with your furbaby!     Hi Truffles Mom! Welcome to TDK. Your Truffles is such a pretty girl! I love Jacob, bent ear and all. He's beautiful and I pray he finds a perfect furrever home. I have 4 rescues with me now and can't take on another but I can certainly pray that Jacob finds a great home. Meantime...you're an Angel for looking after him...Thank You! =D
