  1. *Pushes a big plate of hot apple crumble through the wormhole, accompanied by two little jugs of cream and yoghurt, to Mollycat.*

My pleasure, MC, hope you enjoy. How are you feeling today? Oops, back in a sec, oven pinging to tell me to take the crumble out... I make it with rolled oats in the crumble bit so I can at least tell myself it's healthy, lol.

  5. Oh she did jcat and right now she is still asleep :) Love it!!! We had to come home both nights and give her a bath, she was filthy but had such a great time. She fell asleep in like 2 minutes once she was tucked into bed. No peep from her all night.

  12. I sure would have loved to come to your picnics CM! This is the first year EVER that I haven't been to a Memorial Day picnic of some sort. I just think burgers and hot dogs taste better at picnics! I sent the girls to the wormhole to fetch the apple crumble! Nom, nom, nom, nom, nom.......

  14. Oh yeah, my head hurts a little. But my neck, that is another story! It is so stiff and painful. I think I am gonna take up WWMs idea of looking into a light neck brace just to help me hold my head up.

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  15. Mollycat
    how are you feeling?
    never mind! it's above this!
    Sorry your neck is hurting!

  16. PMS - "Personal Me Syndrome" appropriately titled, allows one to be "cranky and fiesty" with no explanation required!..........

Posted 2 years ago by AV #

  17. Jcat - calling Jcat! Take your head out of the oven! I know its probably warmer in there than anywhere else in your house but its time to come out now.

Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  18. Good idea MC, I think that would help you and you will still strengthen your neck muscles.
no pictures AV to post :( Didn't think of taking the camera..
Be back..going to drag my butt upstairs and get dressed..

  19. MS
PMS is pushy men syndrom... personal mental stress.. passing mean sh**...
    I could go on!

Posted 2 years ago by 3 kits staff #

  20. Oh, MC, that's no good. I'm sorry to hear about your neck.

*Slides another dish of apple crumble through the wormhole to MC to make up for sore neck.*

Here, put it in the fridge for later, it's good cold too...

Lol @ KK and MS. Reminds me of when I worked at a current affairs journal, many, many years ago, and one of the women writers mentioned PMT (as it was known back then) in a story. Our deputy chief sub (he was a lovely man)spelled it out as post-menstrual tension and we never let him forget it...

You're right, KK, my oven IS the warmest room in the house. Good thing it's electric or I could have had a nasty accident...

  21. There is a medical equiptment store close to my house, I may run there today. It looks like such a dreary day outside, grey and overcast!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  22. Av I love your explanation of PMS!

Posted 2 years ago by 3 kits staff #

  23. Ringo just graduated from garden to wildlife! He just came in with a very flat, partially decapitated mouse - looked like roadkill. I don't think he actually caught it himself - more like 'found' it.

Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  24. Awwww, Ringo, flora AND fauna!

No, no, Mollycat, please don't run anywhere... walk very slowly and stop often for little rests (maybe take a thermos of tea with you)...

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  25. Can I keeps it Mom??
    It won't eat much?

Posted 2 years ago by 3 kits staff #

  26. LOL @ Ringo!..... trying to pass roadkill off as something he caught!.... LOL

Posted 2 years ago by AV #

  27. LOL @ Dorie -- won't eat much...

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  28. It was flung over the neighbour's fence for its eternal rest. A minute's silence for the late mouse please.

Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  29. LOL, KK held the dessicated body up so I could see it too. It may have been dead as long as Ringo's been alive.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  30. ..... it's going to be 89 degrees today here!... (ducks as shoes are thrown from "down under").... and it FINALLY looks like the rain might stay away!.... hopefully I can get Abby in her stroller and go for a nice walk this afternoon!......
