   I'm trying to, but not getting much cooperation from a shelter. My Morris has been gone 5 yrs this month, and it's way past time for another kitty. Went on petfinder and found a beautiful black and white cat--of course he's in St Paul, Minnesota--about 4 hrs away from me, but I'm willing--but cannot get them to call me back about him. I'll keep trying,tho.

   I adopted Leela late last June! MM, I wish you were closer; there are so many kitties at our local shelter.

   I wish we had a shelter here, but we don't--and the one closest to us--about 35 miles has plenty of dogs, but not cats right now--even Fargo--about 60 miles has very few--but this guy in St Paul just "spoke" to me when I saw his picture. he-he--wish his shelter personnel would speak to me--but it is a no-kill shelter, so unless he is adopted, he will still be there.

   MM - they might have LD phone restrictions at the shelter... Keep calling! Is there a way to send an email on petfinder?
