Looks like the cafe isn't up and running yet! The girls and I want to get it started. We are having it catered by The Cracker Barrel. We have everything on the buffet and hot coffee brewing. Many kitty cats are waiting for a nice lap to sit on so come on it and visit with them!

... back from a whirl wind cleaning frenzy this morning!..... since I got up at "sparrow fart", I decided to get going and get the cleaning done, since I have the family coming to dinner tonight!...
... off to the grocery store now..... hmmmm it's only 8:30 am.... that means I'll be shopping with the "retirement center people" that they bus in early... oh well, I'll, just be a blur that buzzes by them!! LOL (oh, I am so mean!)

Hi Katt!!! I have never been to Florida. I would like to visit one day..most likely to be at Disney World..So I am so excited about Maddie peeing last night in the potty!! This morning she wanted to try again..nothing, but I told her, lets drink some milk and then we shall try. So we are doing the shirt and pull ups look with no shorts to make it easier.

Morning to everyone whom I have missed, was outside filling water dishes for outside birds/critters.
This is how I spent most of my birthday, Took a sleeping aid last night, what a fitful night that caused, sigh. Spent yesterday taking Red to the vet for his quarterly check-up (he is doing very well with his 4 teeth), and then the rest of the day at the emergency room with Lynn whose ankle had swollen up quite a bit....they can't find anything wrong, so they casted it in a soft cast because she can't walk on it and gave her a referral to a ortho doc (only took 'em 7 hrs to decide that). Prob why I don't go to ER's for myself, just don't have the patience for them.

MC, well no fun for sure but Lynn needed someone to sit with her too so that's ok. ER's are annoying enough without being sick or injured to sit there.

I know that Lynn was glad you were with her. Does she have any circulatory issues, or was it an injury? Let her know that she is in my prayers. Hope today is a little better.
I have been on summer break since last Friday. I went to an AP (Advanced Placement) English workshop yesterday. Helping daughter who is working on a project for the school. And next week is Freshman Marching mini camp. Daughter meets with group going to Europe and I am responsible for the food. Then she goes to the University for journalism workshop for 4 days. She is home the day before she leaves for Europe. It will be a busy summer--are there any others?

Joan I am sure he is on his way to McGuire. The New Jersey is in Camden but I don't know where that is. He took his father there and I stayed with his mother. It was the last time I got to spend with her before her death. FIL got to take his children to the ship and daughter and I had time with MIL.
