Gosh, that means that I get up at the Sparrow Fart hour every stinkin' day. So now I know what that sound is at that time of the morning!
FH, can CM really get us new bodies? *frantically looks through magazines to find the perfect shape*

Deb, I had no idea about the lightening strike - yikes! That must have been quite... exhilarating? Thank heavens you both are okay!

....lots of "peeking" going on this afternoon! LOL....."waves to everyone"....got everything prepped for tonight!, now will try and rest, since I've been up for so long!..... I feel like this day may never end! LOL
...first time in a long time I've done a dinner party with out having to make a second trip to the store... seems like I got everything I needed this morning with my (now) buddies from the cardiac express..... I could hear them say "who was that blur that whizzed bye" ???!!! LOL (I promise there were no bodily injuries)!

CM, when I get my "new" body I won't need a brain. I got a "new" one of those recently and I am sure it cost a forturne so I would hate to lose it!

Ah, yes - the yummies. I really must think of that! I saw a recipe just the other day for lemon bars and they didn't sound too time consuming. I'm a really good cook but frankly, I suck as a baker. So it has to be easy. And a friend gave me a recipe for a pie that sounds disgusting but she swears that it is delicious. It's a banana pie with blueberry topping. I'm not too certain that I want to do a pie, though. I kind of like to stick to finger foods so that I don't have to put out forks. I may make Hello Dolly bars, too. Those are the ones that you just dump all of the stuff in the pan, pour evaporated milk over them and bake. Even I can't mess them up!
But then again, I might just go to Tony's which is the Mexican bakery just down the street! :-)

We read a wonderful book called Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. It is about the roundup of French Jews in July 1942, which is an event not even taught in French schools. I had never heard of it. The book is told through two characters, one a little girl in 1942 and an adult woman in the present. Although the subject matter is sad, the book is marvelous. I think that we will have some good discussion.

Finally getting back to TDK today. We're starting our summer project of getting the file room put in order for the summer. We label files, pull files, put new files on shelves, send inactives and other files to an offsite storage company. It's a lot of work and it takes 3 of us almost a month or more to get it done along with our regular work.
Just called the vet's office. The assistant said that Chance is doing fine and I'll be able to pick him up after work. I told her that I would talk with them when I pick him up, so I don't know for sure what was his problem. Will let you all know tomorrow.

Good afternoon all--I am finally back. Spent 4 hours changing combinations of 300 lockers. After lunch we started the last set, another 300. In 2 hours we only have 70 done! Every flipping locker was on a different cycle so we had to figure out the cycle it was on, and then set them on the proper cycle. I was ready to scream! Never again...
Deb I think you can sum up all your health problems directly to the lightening. Electricity in the body messes with everything. I am just thankful you lived through it! Although I wish it had cured your headaches instead of adding to them! Lynn didn't have breathing difficulty did she? You know I would like to just smack the intake ER clerk and the rest of the staff for that matter--they should NEVER have given her something she is allergic to. I hope she is okay--the itch is horrid though!
