  1. Trixie disappeared for two days and has returned deflated. Kittens are here!

I've searched the greenbelt but she's hidden them well. No doubt they're under a building, hopefully out of reach of the dastardly raccoons. I'll be watching to see where she comes and goes from. But I wanted to share the news so you guys could pray for her babies if you have an extra moment...

  2. I hope she has hidden them well. Those darn raccoons. I will keep you and the babies in my thoughts. I hope that you can find them and move them close to the house. Those mama kitties are pretty crafty. I am thrilled that you have new kittens!

  6. Deflated ! LOL
Watch her from a distance and see where she goes. Mama cats are very sneaky about their babies whereabouts.

  10. The last time I tried to keep Trixie indoors, she literally walked UP the walls, taking everything in her path with her...the more breakable the better. I thought only Spiderman could do that, but nope! Trixie can do it, too! I'm watching her but she's only coming out at night and seems to "materialize" out of darkness. She's a smart and elusive girl! See why I can't catch her? I just want this newest litter to come to me in a few weeks healthy and happy. She never brings them until she's ready to get them partly on solid food...usually four weeks. You can see her last healthy litter on my Catster page with Bob.

  13. Payers going out that Trixie keep her newbies safe from harm...& better yet, guide you to them so you can scoop them up! With them inside, she'll be more inclined to want to stay in.
Don't feel bad...Ms. Hissy was exactly the same way as Trixie is being. That's why it took 3 yrs. to finally trap the little trollup. :)

  14. She's showing up without fail for food and water. But she comes very late--around midnight. She comes to the window and cries for her dinner. That way I can't see where she came from Very sneaky! I've enlisted some neighbors to spy on her during the day...but my guess is that she never leaves her cool, rocky den.

    Crafty is Trixie!
