  1. Miracle and Sydney are two beautiful tortoiseshell cats at Roicy Duhon Animal Control Center in Lafayette, LA.

They are beautiful, affectionate, healthy and well-socialized. They both had the misfortune to come into the shelter right smack in the middle of "kitten season". They are getting overlooked because of the many kittens coming into the shelter. These sweet and loving girls have now been in the shelter for over six weeks, and are now in danger for reasons of space. Its so unfair that these girls, barely beyond kitten stage themselves, are tortie damsels in distress because adopters want kittens. They still have the playful, sassy attitude of kittens, but no signs of "tortitude".

    And sweet Sydney again!

If you are potential adopters or rescues anywhere near Lafayette, please consider giving these girls a home. They have both been sponsored, so there will be no adoption fee for legitimate rescues. Please help these belles in distress if you can.
